Good Monday morning Thad, Frankie, Loner, Andrew, and Paul!

Thad, I hope you're doing well after returning from Las Vegas. Those plants in your photos are similar to some things we have in Florida. The top pic is lantana, which grows well here. And the bottom pics looks like something called Texas sage, which you sometimes see here. I guess the difference is that out there, they're limited to drought tolerant plants, which precludes many things that grow in wetter climates.
I had a busier week than usual. The MCC food pantry got a new shipment from their supplier, so they're well-stocked for right now. I think there will be a greater demand than usual, the way things are going right now.
One thing I did last week was to have an online hypnosis regression session, which I hope will help me out with some issues. I did get a lot of answers, but it's probably going to take months to assimilate all the information and figure out what it means. That's all I'm going to say right now, since I know it's controversial, and it will take time to see the results.
On Friday morning I saw a lawn maintenance service in my front yard. I'm sure that somebody had to pay them, probably that lady from across the street that was pulling the vines down off the house. I guess that's a nice gesture, but I have my reasons for not using them. I noticed that their weed whacker had partially cut into the bark of my frangipani/plumeria, and if it completely encircles the plant, it will kill it. Fortunately they didn't touch my back yard, where I have several young fruit tree saplings that I'm trying to get established. A lawn maintenance service would kill them.
