No words...it is like she thinks it is 1993.

How many times are Democrats going to fall for republican lies? Republicans always lie like this. They never negotiate in good faith, it's always a manipulation.
Deceive, Deny, Delay, Delude, Deflect, Dilute, Destruct. It's always the same, and Democrats never learn.

McConnell told them up front, right after Biden was elected, "I am 100% focused on stopping the Biden agenda".
You cannot work with people who are 100% focused on not working with you.
Heck, the night Obama was first elected, they got together and agreed their goal for the next four years was to obstruct everything.
Democrats never learn.

Fascism doesn't share.

The calls for the end of Schumer's time in leadership are about the only thing good to come out of a feckless, poorly planned effort to do the right thing... for large numbers of constituents in red states.

Within mere weeks of New York voters electing a mayor who espoused social democratic policies to make the city more liveable and affordable, this is what the corporate Dems
decided to trumpet.

Jeffries turned out to be an incredible disappointment...his promise of a few years ago now all rubbed away, exposing just a figure of lead.

I agree. Time to primary the shit out of him before he has time to collude any more with the GQP.

And they aren't because it is likely really embarassing for the establishment ossified and moribund leadership.

It also may go all the way back to Biden making the fatal strategic error of choosing a strong black woman as Veep, but I suspect a lot of the blame goes to all those who thought that propping up Joe was a good strategy until it was panic time and then left too little time and resources for Harris to run an effective campaign.

It als likely goes to the heart of why the Dems have been losing the younger voters and progressives by propping up Israel's genocide in Gaza.

And the working class by not aggressively confronting price gouging, wages and CoL...but instead spent their energy coddling their billionaire owners.

Will they learn anything? Nope. They missed a golden moment with Mamdani and are really only winning races now as a reaction against Trump.

Because even now they lack clear leadership and policies.

Yeah....don't be a coward. Release the report. What are we afraid of?

Honestly, Ken Martin was only a slightly better choice than Jaime Harrison. The job of herding cats is never fun but Martin was the wrong choice for the times.

The Democrats really needed someone who was interested in courting younger voters and who knew how to play dirty. Martin is one of the reasons that Democrats are raising less money than Republicans in a year where Democrats should be raking in the money from donors who want Trump gone.

Asked about the possibility of impeachment, Schumer says "we hope that we can have support from our Republican colleagues to put a brake on this long before it gets that far"

Let's see what the Dems do with this. Shades of Sinema.

Fortunately, it is California so voters there are likely a little more watchful for this kind of shit.

Are the Dems in the Senate really so out of touch and stupid?

I agree Mehdi Hasan here. If Democrats want to win they need to run not only on a platform of change and a better future, but a platform of accountability for all the people who broke the law and brought this havoc on our country. By 2029 we won't only need accountability, we will need denazification.

Schumer and Jeffies have to go.

I once had high hopes for Jeffries but now I see him as a sell-out to the GQP and TrumpCo. agenda.
