I make a MEAN Lasagna...My italian female friends tell me my Lasagna comes close to their Mothers...Now that's a compliment...It takes me half-a-day to make it, but the finished product is out of this world if I do say so...

What is your best cooked or baked dish?

I am an adequate cook. I hate cooking though so I don't put much effort into it.

My best is beer battered shrimp (the ingredients to the marinate and batter is what makes them delicious) and my spaghetti sauce. Also I make a mean Taco Surprise! I always get great compliments on those three things. I love to cook, but never have time. I love throwing random things into a pot and seeing the outcome.

My spaghetti is very good and my outstanding chilli will burn through to your basement.

My stomach is castiron with a lead lining.

I make a MEAN Lasagna. . .

I love lasagna!

I don't cook. I don't know how to cook, but even if I did, I wouldn't cook. We don't even own cookware or spices. Now that I think about it, we also don't have any tupperware, aluminum foil, salt, or pepper. So, no cooking but I do pick up some MEAN fast food. Taco Bell is my specialty.

The ability to cook amazing tomato sauce and perfect pasta runs in my veins but my best dish is a pasta salad I make with steak and other secret ingredients.

I love to cook when I have the time. The neighborhood loves it when I do my beef stew and biscuits and invite them over for dinner. My Mac and Cheese isn't too bad, either - I use a guarded family recipe that even Col. Sander's couldn't duplicate. :-)

Well Of course I COOK !!!! LOOL

No but seriously yeah I love to cook, part of my job, part of culture...

I'd say I'm an awesome baker. I don't personally like sweets and desserts all that much, but my cakes are delicious, as well as nicely decorated.

are you guys going to post the recipes?

it all sounds deelish

OK, here ya go:

CRAB STUFFED CHICKEN BREASTS

4 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts, halved
4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
2 Bottles drinkable dry white wine (this is subjective, ask your wino friends)
3/4 Cup Whole Milk (2% is marginal, don’t you dare use Skim!)
3/4 Cup canned chicken broth
1/4 Cup white flour (preferably Unbleached)

1 medium onion, chopped
1 7 1/2 oz. can Crab Meat, drained
1/2 Cup coarsely crumbled Saltine crackers
1 4 oz. (drained) can Mushrooms, stems and pieces
2 Tablespoons chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
a little bit of Garlic Powder if you want
dash of ground black pepper

1 Cup shredded Swiss Cheese (get some good stuff)
1/2 teaspoon Paprika

1. Flatten chicken pieces between waxed paper or plastic wrap and pound out to make about 1/8 inch thick. Good way to release your aggressions for having to make a ‘company’ meal. This is the funnest time you have ever had cooking. Beat that meat! Set aside.

2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt 3 Tablespoons of the butter. DO NOT BROWN. Meanwhile, mix the milk, 3/4 Cup of the wine, and chicken broth.

3. Once butter is melted, add flour to make a roux. SLOWLY add liquid and heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat.

4. In sauté pan, melt remaining 1 Tablespoon butter. Over medium heat, cook onion until browned and yummy. Remove from heat and add Crab meat, Crackers, Mushrooms, Parsley, Salt, Pepper and 2 tablespoons of the sauce you prepared.

5. Choose your serving method: big casserole dish (13x9 or so) or individual oval dishes (very pretty).

6. Divide filling into 8 portions. Place filling on chicken pieces and roll up. Place in your baking dish of choice, seam side down. Pour sauce over all.

7. Cover with foil. Bake in 350 degree oven for one hour. Drink remaining part of the first bottle of wine because your company is now driving you nuts.

8. After one hour, remove foil. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika for color. Put back in oven until cheese is melty and gooey and yummy.

9. Serve with a green vegetable and some amazing bread, and maybe a salad.

10. Drink the remaining bottle of wine.

My showstopper is that people haven't died from my cookery.

Yet.

I don't have a current "showstopper".

In the past, it's been meatloaf, roast chicken, coq au vin, fried rice, california-style pizzas, and chocolate mousse, among other things.....
