  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Are you going to watch the Rio Olympic games ?

The animation with the little boy has been up for over 6 hours, now.

Is there a rule against posting pictures of children on this site or not?

It's 7:50 local time and CBC is broadcasting men's single sculls... and there isn't a Canadian in the line-up.

I don't know if you can access this in the States, but there are many events being live-streamed here: http://olympics.cbc.ca/online-listing/

Thanks so much for the link, Neil! Works just fine! And I get to see CBC's coverage of events! Thanks again! :D

^ Not a problem. From what I've heard on television, the online streaming is commercial-free.

I haven't watched it yet except for the men's road race this morning so my roommate could watch the ending.

Just to make you envious, on top of the live-streaming, I have these stations broadcasting:

CBC
TSN1 (The Sports Network)
TSN2
TSN3
TSN4
TSN5
SNO (Sportsnet Ontario)
SNE
SNW
SNP
SN1

There may be others, but I haven't needed them.

A bit of interesting info. CBC and CTV are rivals when it comes to Olympic broadcasting rights. TSN is CBC's sports network and Sportsnet is CTV's network. This year, for the first time, they are sharing broadcasting. I don't know whether they offered identical bids or it they simply decided to share the broadcasting rather than compete with each other. Either way, we get a lot more choices of which events we want to watch.

Watching the swimming. wasn't gonna watch anything this time but it's on at the perfect time for me.

^ Especially when they change right there on the floor. (Does American coverage show that?)

How is there not a Water Polo thread on JUB???

Thick, strong guys in tiny speedos with ass cracks hanging out, rearranging their junks and smacking each other on the ass!

There are so many hot men in the Olympics.
Where are all the gay photographers? LOL

Sort of, but they cut away at the good times.

I think all the gymnasts are beefier this year than in the past. I also think they're taller. I liked the shorter ones better (probably because I'm not so tall... :D )

I will be - especially the swimming, diving and gymnastics.

I don't care who wins what, but I do appreciate excellent performances, but probably will skip dressage this time.

^ As I suspected, Google is now full of images of him. The tongue thing was a fluke. He's smiling most of the time.

Tonga2.jpg

I had no idea Tonga is a country LOL! I always thought it was under Hawaii or something LOL! (My Geogrpahy sucks)

Speaking of which there are NONE openly gay olympians from USA this time around. I wonder if this means Americans (as well as Canadians) are still too homophobic in sports?
