  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Are you going to watch the Rio Olympic games ?

A bit of a moment for British divers Chris Mears and Jack Laugher. They just won the 3-metre springboard synchro gold. The announcers continued their discussions until the camera suddenly cut to the changing room where Chris & Jack were changing. Both had a towel wrapped around his waist. Chris was kneeling down, but Jack was standing and trying to peel off his swimsuit from under the towel.

The announcer jokingly said, "Perhaps the camera could pull back and give the man some privacy."

Unfortunately, it was a 'nothing to see here, folks' moment, but the possibilities were there for some serious exposure.

Yes please.

Apparently NBC is keeping a tight rein on the Olympics when it comes to sportscasters. The broadcast restrictions are incredible. Take a look at Pat Tomasulo's 'Olympic' rant. It's hilarious:

^ Of course it's his opinion, but it's the truth. In all of his races, there isn't a thing his opponents can do to slow him down or interfere with his progress. It's not like his opponents can get in his lane and grab his foot to hold him back.

What a ridiculous argument.
His opponents around the world can try to be faster than him.
Its like 100m running, or a marathon, or weight lifting ... etc. The opponents can do what ever they want to beat the records.

Yes, they can try to be faster than him, but they CAN'T MAKE HIM SLOWER!

Is that so hard to understand?

Imagine how easy it would be to play football if there was only one team on the field? Get it now?

To be fair he has got to beat Father Time, he's almost twice the age of some of them.

No, your argument is invalid.
I can argued that the people you have mentioned is NOTHING without their team mates helping them out.
If they go solo like swimming, they are even more than nothing ....

Okay, tell me how other swimmers can slow him down or stop him. Come on. Tell me one way they can interfere with his swim.

You can't, because there isn't one.

I kind of have to agree with Telstra on this one.
