  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Are you still wearing masks?

grocery store, all retail establishments, bank & post office, dining establishments (dine in, but not drive-thru) but only until the drink order arrives :) and my doctor/dentist office

No I don't, unless required. I will go back to wearing one come the fall, just to avoid a cold or the flu.

No, I don't except in medical offices or where required. There are a few people still wearing them but most don't. Do you still wipe off your groceries before putting them away? We usually do, but I'm inclined to stop.

In the Vancouver area (I live 40 miles from Vancouver), there are quite a few people wearing masks.

Rick,
I wiped down my groceries one time way back when

Any public place, I will lower to smell something at Bath Body Works but then raise it, for drinking straw under mask, only time its off was at the dentist obvi and yesterday dairy queen made a mess of a blizzard that was all over my hands after I took my mask off there was no way to not put it back on without ruining it! Bottom line people are fucking slobs so I think i'm keeping it for the foreseeable future!

Yes, I feel vulnerable without one. I'll probably be wearing them indefinitely.

Fuck yes. Unlike half the American population I remember our 4th grade science lessons on communicable diseases.

I continue to wear a mask in public.

^ Yes, this. Absolutely, I still wear a mask like it's 2020 whenever I'm around other people. I found some great N99 masks that are very comfortable.

Yes - always in public or when I am around other people and I intend to do that indefinitely. I have all my shots but I can still get it and pass it on which is enough for me to wear it - I do not have to be told.

Yes, we're still seeing too many in the Covid unit I work in.

Behold the responsible, intelligent people with their priorities straight. You all get a big  from me. (masked of course )

Mandatory in public transportation... and pharmacists consider it polite to see you wear them in their businesses, since it is also mandatory in any sort of medical premises.

Hospitals. clinic, doctor and dentist office still require them here. All other is optional.

Oregon law says everywhere medical they are required, but even most of my medical places don't bother anymore. Patients or staff.

My pharmacy was the first to go. It makes no sense that if you are shopping you don't need one, but if you stand a foot in the other direction you do.

Well, they say there are many sick people entering a pharmacy, not just people going in for a Compeed (does that still exist) or a toothbrush.

My pharmacy is in a grocery store. It made no sense to make people wear a mask when the person next you didn't have to.

I assumed someone would speak of supermarkets but, still, we are talking about the places, not the products: some might as well say they do not go to clinics or hospitals to take care of their health

It is very unusual to see anyone wearing a mask except for travelers coming into fast food or other restaurants. Medical facilities quit wearing masks on July 1. We didn't get hit as hard as the large cities. We currently, according to the stats, have 4 known covid cases in the entire county. Last March to May we had no cases. We have had 3 deaths this year and 9 in 2020.

I do carry a mask in my pocket at all times. And i admit I did wear a mask a couple of times last week. I'm having some problems with allergens / pollen's and I cough once in a while. I wore a mask just so others would maybe feel more comfortable.

Nope i stopped wearing it. I wear it at work (Hospital) i still caught covid twice even with a mask on.

Last time I wore one was back in June when I took the train into the city.
(Not required on public transportation here, but probably 50+% of people were.)
