I'm not really familiar with his stuff so I can't say if I'd like to watch it or not for sure, but I'm generally not into the movies where the camera guy goes into the action.

When I was regularly making Fratpad videos I got called the "Steven Spielberg of handicam porn" and I thought it was kind of fun, but I got rather tired of how many people told me they wanted to see me join in the action. It all felt a little unseemly to me.

The really sad thing is that although it's not a concern at our shoots, because of their "Abstinence Only" sex "education" that Republicans are forcing down the throats of the general population, I've had to teach a lot of the guys about protecting themselves in their every day sex lives. I'm the first guy with whom many have been able to have frank, judgement-free conversations about sex, sexuality, contraception, STDs and even the way their own bodies work. They've often been very excited and relieved to be able to ask questions about what being gay "is" or how STDs are transmitted.

Fratmen is primarily a solo site.

If any of the models are worried about catching an STD from themselves, it's would seem that child got left behind.





NOW... if the guys are going to do any guy/guy action at the Fratpad, we'll test them for any and all STDs. If there's anal involved, we insist on condoms and make sure the guys know what they're doing. I know it may sound silly to us, but many straight guys think they can just slide something up their ass and it won't hurt.

Before the famous David/Spencer show where they popped each other's cherries, I had to get them together and explain to be gentle and how to relax. I got them both butt plugs to wear for an hour or so before the big event and got them both Fleets to make sure they were all cleaned out. I was there in case anything went wrong (not sure what could, but they wanted me in the next room anyway) and the show was a success.

Hard to say. Honestly, I have anger issues and I have a very short fuse from time to time and I need to keep it in check. Not always easy.

I hate people who are more worried about what others think of them than they are in following their own path. People who whine about things that really don't matter.

What I admire in others is the ability to be themselves and accept everyone else as they are. It's something that I haven't mastered yet.

As in, do you accepts guys that already meet your standards, or do you accept guys that have blemishes that could be easily photoshopped or cover up with concealer, or if they aren't as toned as you would like, but with a little exercise, would meet the standard.

You can't photoshop video. Or you CAN but it requires a budget WAY above the budget of a Fratmen movie. So if a guy is covered in acne.. we can't really shoot him.

Of course we put cover up makeup on the guys if they have the odd zit or an odd birth mark. One of our models (and I won't say who), has a large birth mark on his face that makes him look like he's got a black eye. We covered it up because he's hot and had a great body but the birthmark was distracting. Just about all the guys have a little something that needs to get covered up.. digital video is very unforgiving.

We'll clean them up when they get to the shoot. In the blog and in my personal video archives (I've got literally HOURS of footage I've shot behind the scenes) of the guys getting hair cuts, eye brow waxing, manicures, pedicures...

If he's not in good enough shape we won't shoot him. No point. We'll tell him that if he gets into better shape that we WILL, but to be honest... we have a HUGE number of movies in the can and we have a HUGE number of guys who want to work with us. We have movies that we shot last year that we haven't released yet. So there's no need to compromise our standards... and every time we have.. it's been a disaster.

We don't really need to worry about shooting guys who aren't perfect. Every time we've taken a chance on a guy who had something that we thought was sexy but didn't fit that "Perfect" Fratmen thing.. we heard about it.

Of course the obvious question is going to come...

What happens if a guy shows up and he doesn't look good or he's got too much acne or isn't in the shape he was in in the pictures he sent.

Sadly.. we pay him a cancellation fee and send him home.

Maybe I am just being naive, but what good is it to use a condom in a video and then rub the cum all over the guy's ass afterward anyway?

HIV+ cum isn't an acid.. it won't pass through skin. The reason that anal sex passes it on so well is that the mucus membranes in your rectum are made to absorb any liquid thus turning the digested food in liquid form into um.. you know where I'm going with that.

Cum splashed on the outside isn't going to lead to HIV infection, generally. Once the HIV virus hits the open air, it doesn't live long and transmission is difficult.

I wouldn't be something I'd do myself but splashing a bit of cum on the outside of an asshole is still considered "low risk."

My understanding is that unless it goes inside without touching the air, you're still a lot safer. But it's still not a risk I'd take. Or condone.
