As some of you may already know, I cleared up my Saturday schedule so my night's free now

I'm leaving for Austin this evening and should be checking in the hotel late this evening.After yet another modem problem keeping me from accessing my computer(technician is coming Tuesday hopefully to replace this defective modem) I finally made my reservations by phone a half hour or so ago,at least have a hold set up so I can check in and get my room Friday night.Was going to PM centexfarmer about it the past week I've had wildly inconsistent access so I just got information and called the Drury....very professional,nice people working customer service btw!
I am looking forward to seeing you guys
and it is going to be really fun Saturday!
What is the confirmed list of attendees right now?C'mon guys,it isn't too late to get in on the fun.....let's give centexfarmer the best party ever!

Sadly most of us won't be arriving until early Saturday afternoon.
So far, I know that you'll be there, add GL247, RestlessOne, BBCSseven, and myself makes five.
That's confirmed!
At least two more have publicly nibbled at the idea.
So who knows, with my wearing my JUB T-shirt to 219 West, and the OCH, perhaps someone will recognize the party and want to join us.
With or without, we already have a great group, and I'm really excited about seeing everyone again!

Dammit - I always miss out on the good stuff! I would have loved to meet you guys and hang in Austin for Centex's birthday. That is, had I seen this sooner. But no, I had to be a dumbass and not notice the notice staring me right in the face at the top of the page when I signed up two weeks ago.
It would have been a perfect outing for me. August 2nd is actually my birthday too. My man, Jake, and I were planning a weekend together but 3 weeks ago he was told he had to go to Tampa on a business trip so we canceled ours.
Now that our trip was canceled, my sister is planning a small party with a few friends tomorrow night for my b-day. Otherwise I'd meet up with you guys for dinner, drinks and dancing. I'm in Dallas so it wouldn't even be that long of a drive and I love Austin.
You guys sound much more fun than a living room party where the most exciting thing I'll probably do is blow out the candles. I'm kidding... Ugh, hopefully it won't be that bad.
Oh well.... Maybe next time around.
In the meantime - wishing you a:

Actually my birthday was last Sunday, so I spent last weekend with family.
We picked this weekend because RestlessOne is a Texas transplant, and he's never really seen Austin, and we were all looking for an excuse to get him down there!
However, he resides in Denton, and Dallas is my hometown where I still have family and friends, and a State Fair of Texas Mini-JUB meet is in the works for probably the first weekend in October, and as you know the State Fair of Texas is in Dallas!
So there will be more time for "the good stuff!"
I'm glad to see that your first post in our community of friends here indicates that you're interested in meeting some of the characters here in person!
The more Texas JUBbers the merrier!
