centexfarmer and i are planning on celebrating his birthday in austin, texas on 08/02/08 (saturday).

right now the only thing we've got nailed down is dinner (location to be determined) and some fun at oil can harry's.

219 west!!! i couldn't remember the name of that restaurant for the life of me. but yeah, that'll do just fine.

yes it does get hot but we'll be moving about in the evening so it shouldn't be quite as bad. oh who the hell am i foolin', it'll still be hot. amen for a/c and frozen margaritas!

Airfare from ATL to Austin starts at nearly $500, with stops in St Louis and Minneapolis/St Paul :p

About 550-600 for 1 stop flights. ](*,)

You know, I have lived in this city for several years now and have met many great friends.. But I have never really gotten involved in the gay community.

Finally an event comes up that sounds fun and I would like to go... Only, I am moving to Québec this weekend!

Ech.. Maybe next time I can, and I can visit my friends and family and all while down!

Is this shindig still a go?I think I can get the Saturday off as a personal to start my vacation,but will probably hold off til after the 4th of July to make definitive airline and hotel reservations,if it's still on.Would this mini-meet only be a one-day thing or the full weekend?...I can go back Monday morning being on vacation.

oh yeah, the austin meet is still on. even if only centex and i show up!

it just means more shot buys for he and i. ;)

as it stands we're planning on a one night thing-- saturday.
