Oh, forgot to mention, loved her singing "On A Clear Day (You Can See Forever)". Loved how she just sang the hell out of that song.

Well known: The Way We Were - You Don't Bring Me Flowers
Less well known: I Can See It. (from the Fantastiks) - My Funny Valentine (Rodgers and Hart).

My H.S. choir teacher told the class that if you want to hear superb vocalization, listen to Barbra Streisand.

What a voice! What a career!

A couple of stand out songs come to mine for me--I Never Has Seen Snow and the I've Got Rhythm medley from the Barbra Streisand and other musical instruments album/cd.

I also enjoy watching her five specials from the 60's and 70's; she won several awards for them at the time they were first shown on TV. She can turn a lyric for sure.

I think she was quite the trailblazer and overcame a lot of chauvanism to accomplish what she has done. Grammy/emmy/tony/oscar award winner.
