Of course Revolver is the best Beatles album. Even non-Beatles fans like me know that.

Arguing what the best Beatles album is is like arguing what the best color is. It's gonna come down to personal opinion. With me, I switch between Rubber Soul, Revolver and Sgt Pepper's quite a bit. If I'm feeling really weird, I'll even push the white album up there.

Other than that, other albums that have yet to bore me ever:
Prefab Sprout Two Wheels Good (called Steve McQueen in UK, I think)

Prince Parade

The Beautiful South Quench

Everything But the Girl Amplified Heart

PSB Nightlife

>>>Prince Parade

I was still fumbling through piano lessons, and my piano teacher picked up the piano book of Parade, presumably under the hopes that it would keep my interest. I was a huge Prince fan (still am), but after struggling to learn "Life Can Be So Nice" on the piano for about three months, I decided I just didn't have the talent to play piano.

I have trouble hearing that album now without thinking about the numerous chord changes in that (rather slight) song. :)

Thats my favorite as well! (*8*)

And this one.

This is it for me, I really like Queen, though I didn't get to know their music and this album in particular until about 10 years after its release. I LOVE Queen.

I really think Queen is the best band ever. (you can probably tell from my av that I'm biased...lol)

i don't think the the "best album ever" has come out in the past 10 years. i can't really think of anything that would stand the test... i mean, if you're talking the best album of all time?

it was probably written by The Beatles though.

Isn't this all a matter of opinion?

Anyway for me it's

DJ Shadow-The Private Press

Daft Punk-Discovery

Basement Jaxx-Rooty

The Go! Team-Thunder Lightning Strike!

I can't Just pick one there's so many.

well, to some degree the greatness of an album/song has to become objective.

and if we're talking an objective "best album ever" rather than "my favorite album ever" you can't list a Britney Spears record.

it's like arguing about the best basketball player ever and naming my 3 year old niece.

Gino Vanelli"Storm At Sunup"
Cold Blood"Thriller"( Yes there was one before Michael Jackson's)
Eddie Harris "Listen Here"
Tower Of Power"Urban Renewal"
Robin Thicke"The Evolution Of Robin Thicke"
Herbie Mann "Memphis Underground"
Greg Allman"Playin' Up A Storm "
PRINCE "1999"
Labelle"Moonshadow"
Laura Nyro "Gonna Take A Miracle"

Why not? If a person really thinks that and want to list it who are you to say they can't?

who are you to tell me i can't tell someone they can't list it?

see where i'm going with this?
