I am so annoyed Frank is still around. He seems to have nine lives like a cat. Except I like cats, can't stand Frank.

Ian is the only one really playing the game. He takes the time to make a plan, then figures out to make it work. Go Ian.
 
ian played everyone hard, mike frank and ash all thought that he was good with them. ian can lie awesomely to peoples faces and i love that. and i sooo knew they would have the search and find veto, not saying its rigged or anything, but u can always put some more towards the bottom than others.
 
UGH. Frank won HOH. This is the week where Dan will really be tested.

Before the HOH comp, Dan and Shane staged a fight so Frank would work with Shane/Britney and put Joe up as the second nominee. Not sure if Frank will fall for that or not but we'll see. Obviously if Dan and Joe are on the block, Dan has the votes to stay.

Frank is also cool with Ian again so if Ian is still loyal the Quack Pack, he could try to convince Frank to go this route (yet another benefit to him being a mole). Dan did take the heat for him last week so Dan could pull that card to get Ian to do what he wants.
 
My gaydar barely functions, but a few things about Shane have made it ping. First, one of the times he was HOH someone asked who a photograph of him and a young woman was. He started saying, "That's me and my...." Then went on "...me and my sister." It was as if he was about to say "girlfriend" and then thought better of it, praps since he'd never mentioned her. Secondly, when he wore the pink tank tp and said, "I"m comfortable with my sexuality." That is something a straight would never even think to say--like "I'm comfortable about having a liver." For a straight to have discomfort about his sexuality is almost impossible to imagine.

And kudos to the much (by me) despised Boogie who took his being out played by Ian with class.
 
Dan seems really worried now that Frank is HOH. But let's assume Frank isn't a total moron and nominates Dan and Shane. If noms stay the same, doesn't Dan still have a shot of getting at least three votes out of Joe/Jenn/Ian/Danielle? I think he could. He could also try to get Ian backdoored by outing him to Frank after the POV.

Of course if Dan just straight up won POV this week I would laugh my ass off.
 
Well Dan would have Dani and he COULD have Ian but Joe's got a deal with Shane already.

Right now Shane and Britt's plan is to make nice with Frank (which I actually think he might be dumb enough to do). Their goal is to convince Frank to put up Joe and Dan. (Which might be best for the quack pack but honestly this would be a great chance for them to cut loose a strong competitor and not get blood on their hands). Dan's in the have not room saying that he plans to be attached to Joe's hip and talk strategy with him constantly in hopes that Frank will put them up. His main fear seems to be that he's going to be up against Dani.

Also I don't think it's smart for Dan to out Ian. He's gone too far with this and Frank doesn't trust him. His best move would be to send Danielle to tell Jenn/Joe that Ian is guilty and watch it get back to Frank.

Brittney at one point (according to Jokers) said this couldn't work out better for them because they can get Joe out this week and then Frank can't play in the next HOH and there will still be enough people to backdoor him.

Interested to see how all this shakes down.
 
Awesome live double eviction. Ian really unleashed his brain power. I was yelling YES, YES, YES at the tv when Frank made that last turn to the wrong answer in the HoH quiz. The audience was really behind Ian. You could hear them moan when Frank got the second shamrock in PoV.

Frank is really good at comps and without the whole Boogie bromance thing he's a nice guy. Even though he was hurt last night and got a bit angry for a while.

The whole house is against him, for now, so it doesn't look too good for him going into the week after this.

So far, it's a Frank/Shane or Ian win if any of them make it to the end by continuing to dominate in the comps.

Pandora's box and that question cube in the arcade are still looming.
 
Right now, Dan's plan is to convince Frank that Dan & Joe have a F2 deal so he'll put them up together and then the Quackers can save Dan. I don't know if it will work but he's certainly going about it the right way. He wants Joe to tell Frank to put up Ian, and then Dan will tell Frank same thing, so Frank will think they're definitely together (and then Ian can talk to Frank alone and push that idea).

If Frank falls for this it would be awesome, but I still can't believe he actually would.

The hope is that Frank, getting identical pitches from Dan and Joe will assume that Dan and Joe are allies and put them up together.

Dan basically told Ian that they'll know the plan is working if Frank goes to tell Ian that Dan/Joe were talking smack about him. Ian then agreed to flip out and say that he and Frank need to get Joe and Dan out. Ian is going to convince Frank that only nominated them because Dan threatened them and he was afraid Frank wouldn't trust them after what Boogie said. Brit has also been cued in to push for a Dan/Joe block, and she's to pass it on to Shane.

All of this has been figured out only moments after Frank won HOH. Guys... I don't care what you think of Dan his social game is FUCKING TIGHT! And it is absolutely remarkable to me that Dan has Brit, Ian, and Shane all willing to work to save him and they don't ever even seem to stop and wonder if they should! I mean they're max three weeks away from having to cannibalize their alliance and it's better for some of them if a strong player is taken out as collateral damage but they're all in preserve Quack Pack mode. It's kind of incredible. I kind of wondered if maybe they were just nodding along to Dan but when they're alone or together without him they use the same company line.

It's remarkable. I think what would be the absolute MOST fascinating is if Dan and Joe are nominated. Dani wins and takes Dan down.

I initially thought I'd like Frank after Boogie left but he just seems SO sanctimonious. The fact he tried to guilt them for voting out Ashley... who was not on their side over Joe who was on their side is so bizarre and confusing to me.

Frank has been saying since the reset that he wants to get rid of Dan so he can work with Shane. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he did. First thing he did after veto was pull Brit and Shane aside and try to win them over.

I couldn't agree more! I'd actually rather see this plan work out than have Dan win POV because 1) It's more exciting 2) It shows what a great player Dan is and 3) I would love to see the look on Frank's face if everyone said they were voting out Dan...only to have him remain on Thursday and Joe walk out the door.

Frank is now saying the noms will be Dan and Danielle. There's still time for Dan's plan to work, but just the fact that Frank's initial impulse is NOT to nominate Shane means you're right (and Frank's an idiot).
