Outlook.com has the same feature, so a lot of Office365 users will find it familiar.

I think many of the features in the new forum are going to be very familiar and easy to adjust to.

Another cool feature - user tagging.

In addition to quoting a members post, you can also tag them in a post (e.g. @unloadonme) which will trigger a notification in their Alerts that says, "KaraBulut mentioned you in a post in the thread 'Brand New JUB Message Board Coming Soon'".

It was there. I had to zoom out using CTRL + mouse wheel to go from mobile style to desktop view.

I, apparently, am the only one around here to truly listen to only real timeless music, and electricity had well been discovered even before 'Classical Viennese' was going on :cool:


What about the personal profile area..? Can we overcharge it again with pics, blog entries etc.

And FFS, post pics of the current looks of the tune-peddlers of the shit you all post in that thread, to verify who is entitled to give lessons on freshness :rotflmao:

Most importantly, are you going to redecorate the Queen's Chambers? You can't have me ruling over tomorrow's forum using yesterday's grandiosity. I'm going to need new curtains, a new throne, new wardrobe, and probably a ceremony with lots of booze and entertainment when we unveil the new palace.

Well, tomorrow "normal life" starts again...


I am still curious about how streamlined is going to be that new version overall: when other sites made that move (years ago, B.P.) they eliminated all the heavy shit like the fancy emojis and all that. I recall when they had to dispense with the option of allowing your profile keep personal albums.

How about adding an option in our profile for posting our age (or even age range)? Maybe that would cause bulling due to age or even more boomer remarks. There are times I would like to know how much life experience someone has when they make a comment.

What do other members think about this being an optional profile entry?

You can do that. It's in your ControlPanel. There's a privacy setting that controls whether your DOB and age are shown:
