All the threads to which you current subscribe will be on your "Watch" list in the new design. You will probably want to review the "Alerts" settings (notifications) on your profile, because there are many new options to manage alerts.

Whenever we get IT updates at work, I always end up in settings trying to make the new version look as much like the old one as possible. If it were allowed, which it never is, I'd decline the updates altogether as they never make work easier.

It looks like a very positive change!! For me, however, I would give up all of those changes for Dark Mode! That is going to be awesome. I love the current site, but it can be blinding at times. I for one, want to say that I appreciate you all doing this upgrade, to get us Dark Mode (and other features as well)! These changes look very positive, and looks like it will be a fairly smooth transition! Good job, all!

It does look very different and for those who have trouble reading dark letters on light background, it does make a difference. With the new forum, you can choose the format and when you sign on, it will automatically change to your preferred theme.

Am I the only one still seeing the old layout/colors? I'm not saying it's because I'm black, but I'm not not saying it either. :lol:

For real real not for play play I want the dark theme, this brightness hurts my face testicles.

The screenshots I posted are for the new forum (preview!). Only a few of us can see the new version of the forum... but everyone will have access.... soon. ;)

Unfortunately, this version of the forum (vBulletin) doesn't offer dark mode. I think Essex Boy is putting his operating system into a dark theme which makes everything (including his web browser) in dark mode.
