Brothers & Sisters

Patricia Wettig made it on the Beauty at any age spread in the new 100 most beautiful edition.

Sally Field made the sexy and over 60 list.

60 is the new 40 right ? Sally Field still has it goin on- Wettig is a good actress - has done way more T V series than I knew. Holding up pretty well though. I thought Ken Olin (and Michael Pare) were so hot back then.

since its inception i don't think B&S has ever had a bad episode and tonight is no exception.

The Holly/Nora scene was good stuff.

loved the last line tonight! You don't want my daughter in your house!!! SOOO GREAT!!!

Oh my gosh yes, it was so real, and so deep. It said a lot.

When i first met Beccs i liked her but she is Trouble.

I thought the Nora/Holly scene was so fucking stupid. The tension was building, they argued, then had a food fight which lead to laughter and then tears.

Stupid.

When Holly said "What do you have to show for your life?" to Nora she didn't come back with "My family!" I knew where the scene was gonna go. Food fight and then making nice nice (on the surface.)

Ummm, Kitty can't read a pill or a pill bottle?

As soon as I saw Rebecca's uneaten cake, I knew it was going to end up in someone's face. Cliche, cliche, cliche.

And did Holly go after the prof to piss off Nora or did she really think they weren't dating. That was sort of lame too.

The only thing I like about tonight was the fact that Tommy and Joe both looked good.

I think this was the best episode so far in the whole season. What great acting and writing. I watched that cake from the first moment knowing somebody was going to be wearing it sooner or later.

Likes they finally gave Tommy and Julia something to do... it only took 20 episodes in, but hey, I'm grateful.

LOVED all the drunk Walkers. Especially Kevin and Kitty. I wonder when it's going to be revealed that Rebecca made the move on Joe... perhaps season finale?

i'm lovin this show...only started watching one day after DH and couldn't find the remote, but once i sat and actually watched i was hooked. Of course Rob Lowe had a big part in though.....

I just watched last nights episode....my goodness a tear jerker...haha....but you knew those babies weren't just gonna be born with no problems...haha.

And what about that fuckin' crappy, manipulative story line of McAllister taking Justin to the VA Hospital to see all the wounded veterans? I thought this series was going to take a real hard stand against the whole Iraq debacle, and here we go with the "Soldiers have to do their duty" mantra. Yes, we do have a duty to perform, but this is a television series that was showing a responsible and reasonable liberal bent. The idea of the (as it turns out) less-than-heroic Senator shaming Justin into going to Iraq is just pathetic! ](*,)

:-({|=

Reponsbile and reasonable? LMAO. I'm sorry not everything can be to your liking. Perhaps MSNBC is better for you to watch?

I'm glad the show has focused on other issues/topics/story lines instead of constant preachy politics. That would get old rather quickly.

The Senator was right in "shaming" Justin into doing his job. I have no empathy for "soldiers" who voluntarily sign-up for the military and then whine when they have to ship out. I'm sure it's all good to be fed, clothed and given a free ride in college but when it's time to fight, it's time to fight.

I fail to understand the "McAllister is less-than-heroic" story line. Regardless of whether or not he became scared and didn't want to go through rescuing the POWs, he still did it. That's heroic in my book. If he turned the copter around and failed to even attempt to complete the mission and then walked around gloating about his glorious military career, that would be less-than-heroic.

In the end, the episode last night was the saddest of any tv show I've watched since I stopped tuning in to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I couldn't imagine being placed in the situation than Tommy and Julia were.

Uhm, hello! The McAllister's a republican, of course that's going to be his perspective. But actually, I think that story bent was handled quite well. It served to remind Justin that he has a valuable function there and seemed to dispel some of his anxiety--gave him a purpose he's been needing, if you will.

The whole Tommy's baby dying thing was a total downer but I can see it leading to a Joe-Sara reconciliation.

Anyone else want to send Calista Flockhart a gorram hairbrush?! Drives me up the friggin' wall every damn scene.

(Yeah, guy without cable--and in finals week--here, so I'm totally behind times. Just so ya know.)

Couldn't ask for a better finale.

An incredible hour of TV.

I only cried once but i teared up 3 other times.

And the Emmy goes to Sally Field. Incredible stuff.

The only thing i don't get is why Saul had a problem with his friend being gay. His own nephew is gay and he accepts him so what is the problem with him accepting his friend. I hope Saul isn't gay.

When did Holly and Rebbecca make up? Becs said some horrible things to her mother and i really wanted Holly to slap her across the face for calling her a "whore."

The kiss between Jason and Kevin was hot but not comfy with Jason being a minister.

I thought that was a great season finale....i cried i laughed...it was great....and love that the hot McAllister brother was back...and shirtless Rob Lowe was nice too...haha
