I think that what the apparently false story and other not so false stories about gender reversals underscore is the complexity and possible fragility of gender identification for some people.

I think that if we all accepted that sometimes finding yourself is not a binary process...but that the 'truth' may lie somewhere on the spectrum...we might be able to better appreciate the struggles of individuals exploring transitioning.

But I also agree that the Kardashian/Jenner/ET machine would do anything to exploit the fame of this pitiful nest of people for five more minutes by using any means possible.

Well, that is me told.
However i cannot in all honesty say "gee, i am sorry".
Like others here i have been watching HER reality show. From my observation Caitlyn payed no heed to the sound advice which was offered to her on many occasions by the group of ladies who were really trying to support her.

As the series has progressed more than one of them has questioned her about her sincerity.
Oh yeah, and i aint a bigot, nor does my mind work at a sophomoric level.

After watching her performance and tantrums, i just cannot take her seriously. We are all entitled to our opinions, even if sometimes said opinions get on some other members tits.
 
This whole thing was a major deal in the last season of Keeping up with the Kardashians.

I think the whole Caitlyn thing ruined the last season because we never saw enough of the Kardashians sisters. Kim is the main character as far as I'm concerned and I'm glad they have a separate show for Caitlyn now because we don't need her on two shows and stealing the limelight from Kim and her sisters the actual stars.

Please Caitlyn/Bruce just stop ruining a good TV show and making it all about you.:mad:

who didn't see it coming though. the kardashians are publicity stunt artists. i feel more sorry for the people that actually really were behind bruce jenner's fucked up ass and for that matter, anybody associated with that group of losers. never give these lames the benefit of the doubt.

Learn what Gender Dysphoria is. Caitlyn calls herself female. To me, it's she not he. It's the same way that I see and refer with Chaz Bono. He not she.

I've only 'slightly' known 2 transgendered people. Both were male to female. One I knew was on hormones. The other one was quite young and I lost contact over 20yrs ago.

I'll admit, I couldn't really wrap my head around the issue until I hit my 40's.
 
With all the celebrities we keep losing this year maybe we'll get lucky and Catylin will go with them.
