Love raccoons. Although one scared the hell out of me recently sitting on top of our trash can eating a huge piece of watermelon rind. He kinda looked at me like....touch my watermelon and die.
 
When I lived in New Jersey there was one who ate the food I left out for the stray cats. He used to pick up the food with his little hands, drop it in the water bowl, then scoop it out and eat it.

They cohabitate surprisingly well with feral cat colonies.
