Christina Aguilera On SNL Last Night

was it even her?.. she was clearly lip synching .. her hat turned down ove rher face .. and her massive hair .. that was fake .. and the lame back up dancers made it look .. like a spoof

Yes it was her and NO she was not lip synching. It was all live honey. She did awesome. Hurt was kinda off but Steppin OUt w/ Tony Bennett was a save.

I thought she did a fantastic job!! The woman's got some pipes.

she nailed that performance last night. i couldn't help but dance to "ain't no other man" when she performed it. as i expected, she did so great with the "hurt" song and made a good collaboration with tony bennett.

just as a reminder, christina is making an appearance at the tony bennett special coming up this week or the following week. i can't wait for it!

Lmao @ you thinking she lipped it. :rotflmao:

She was amazing. I was never much of a fan, but I'm starting to like her.

ANOM was great with a new choreography! She nearly cried singing HURT (perhaps coz her grandmother died several weeks ago) and STEPPING OUT was brilliant! She was more relaxed and could harmonise extremely well with Mr. Bennet!

With regards to comments of Christina lip-synching, sorry to disappoint you but Miss Christina DOES NOT do lip-synching! She's too talented to do that and that's why I'm a fan of hers.

Yeah it was great. I loved ANOM and the Tony Benett duet. And none of those were lip-synched.

And no, that wasn't lip-synched. The only time I've seen her lip-synch was her performance at the Olympics but everyone had to lip-synch at the olympics. And it's really hard to lip-synch her songs since she does so many runs.

Personally, I don't really buy into her hype. She knows how to scream at the top of her lungs and stretch words out so that they're 50 syllables long, but that's about it. She doesn't enunciate her words well, so you can never understand what she's saying. Plus, she shows absolutely no emotion in her voice. Thumbs down.

This coming from someone who either turned off their TV when she came on SNL last night or completely just didn't watch. In either case, you shouldn't have bothered to reply in the thread.

Anyone who watched her sing Hurt would be lying straight through their buck ass teeth to say that she didn't enunciate OR show emotion in her voice. The girl was damn near crying.

And her performance w/Tony Bennett at the end was FLAWLESS. If you think that's screaming you need to get yourself to the ear doctor, and quick sweetheart. I know a place.

NEXT!!

Nope, I saw all 3 performances. I saw how she yelped her way through Ain't No Other Man, making all of the lyrics unintelligible. I saw how she couldn't hit any of the proper notes during Hurt. And I saw how she desperately tried to outperform Tony Bennett, just like the true primadonna attention whore that she is.

Oh, and I loved that hideous afro of bleach-damaged hair. Yay for always looking like a cheap drag queen!

There is no way that was lip-synced. Her mouth moved to every trill and run. I'm a fan, but I did think she struggled a little on her performances, but still sounded great

To the left, to the left...everything you own in a box to the muthafuckin' left.

Never say somebody doesn't ever lipsync. I've seen her do it a few times, although it's not often, but she still does it. And of course, there's an "excuse" for every one, but if you were truly against lipping like she says, then she'd reject those performances.

BUT ANYWAY, to SNL - I liked ANOM, I thought that was the best performance of the three. As much as I love Hurt, I just wish she'd hit one of the big notes ON KEY at LEAST once (cause she hasn't yet in ANY of the live performances of that song) but being a Mariah fan, I'm used to not always getting spectacular notes all the time, so I'm happy that she was at least singing live, LOL. The duet with Tony Bennett was just out of place to me, and I thought it was horrid.

Examples please. :)

What was out of place about it? It was a preview for his special later this month.
