was it even her?.. she was clearly lip synching .. her hat turned down ove rher face .. and her massive hair .. that was fake .. and the lame back up dancers made it look .. like a spoof

Personally, I don't really buy into her hype. She knows how to scream at the top of her lungs and stretch words out so that they're 50 syllables long, but that's about it. She doesn't enunciate her words well, so you can never understand what she's saying. Plus, she shows absolutely no emotion in her voice. Thumbs down.
Nope, I saw all 3 performances. I saw how she yelped her way through Ain't No Other Man, making all of the lyrics unintelligible. I saw how she couldn't hit any of the proper notes during Hurt. And I saw how she desperately tried to outperform Tony Bennett, just like the true primadonna attention whore that she is.This coming from someone who either turned off their TV when she came on SNL last night or completely just didn't watch. In either case, you shouldn't have bothered to reply in the thread.

Oh, and I loved that hideous afro of bleach-damaged hair. Yay for always looking like a cheap drag queen!
Never say somebody doesn't ever lipsync. I've seen her do it a few times, although it's not often, but she still does it. And of course, there's an "excuse" for every one, but if you were truly against lipping like she says, then she'd reject those performances.
BUT ANYWAY, to SNL - I liked ANOM, I thought that was the best performance of the three. As much as I love Hurt, I just wish she'd hit one of the big notes ON KEY at LEAST once (cause she hasn't yet in ANY of the live performances of that song) but being a Mariah fan, I'm used to not always getting spectacular notes all the time, so I'm happy that she was at least singing live, LOL. The duet with Tony Bennett was just out of place to me, and I thought it was horrid.
