(I didn't read everyones comments so if this was brought up sorry ) The guy who is 283lbs, won't you gain some length if you lose weight? I think you do? And a lot of the jubers are so size queens! They say Tommy Lee so not big or whoever celeb. Like they are 15 inches or something. I hate when guys on here try to make themselves seem like they are bigger and better than a celeb. So don't let those guys get you down! There is nothing you can do so you have to just deal with it. Not every guy cares about size. I am a total face person. I ment he will gain an inch or so if he loses weight. When you are that heavy you gain weight in your pelvis above your dick. Once that fat goes away than naturally the dick will gain those inches or inch it lost from the fat.I thought what i wrote was clear and understanding but guess not. I was on your side.

Okay, for clarity's sake let's make this clear:

- False: Losing weight does not magically 'give' you inches. It doesn't make your dick longer.

- True: What is actually happening is that IF you are overweight, there is a good chance that some of the fat that you have amassed is located in your pelvic/groin region. If that is the case, then more than likely, the fat in that region is eclipsing your penis length, making it appear shorter than it actually is. By losing weight, you stand the chance of reducing the girth in that area, thereby exposing more of your naturally external penis length.

It's like a pole on a beach. During low tide, the pole is actually, say, 6 feet tall. But when the tide comes in, 3 feet of the pole is underwater, making the pole seem like it's only 3 feet tall.

That being said, it could be that the penis length you have is the actual length of your penis. Losing weight may not reveal any more length that what's already there (though losing weight in the case of massive obesity is still a healthy thing to do). And for guys who aren't obese, chances are that losing weight won't make your dick longer, since you probably don't have enough fat in that region to hide any of your external penis length in the first place.

I can understand how you must feel, in a gay world where everything from looks, body, endowment, money, etc. seem to be key factors in being able to find a mate. It's really sad. As if it isn't hard enough to maintain self esteem.

Try not to wallow in this, let it really drag you down and stop you from meeting people. CHOOSE not to let it make you miserable. Consider finding a therapist you can really talk to about this, if you think that could help.

I've been having to cope with penis size and its always been discouraging for me to being able to have a relationship.
The reason is I have a small penis. I mean it's really small compared to everyone else. It's about 2 inches when flaccid and 4 inches when erect.

you can't change your dick size but if you are so down on yourself why not make a commitment to lose weight? You almost have to be what you want. If a guy wants a guy with muscles than he has to also have muscles or a thin guy wants a thin guy, etc. Most guys end up with guys in similar size. After a while you start to dress a like. I already have a partner, twinks and muscle guys do nothing for me, why is it that when you need to solve a problem you lose weight? Not everyone wants to be skinny.

No, not morbidly obese. Obese is enough. Fat is going to be distributed to your groin area if you're overweight. I wasn't morbidly obese, but I was definitely probably 20 pounds heavier than I am now and noticed that I gained length compared to how I used to be.

I just don't encourage guys who are like, 10 pounds overweight from trying to lose weight to increase size because it probably won't happen. Also, if you're happy with your length and you're overweight, then there's no reason to do it...

Plus, losing weight for the sake of penis length seems silly. I'd do it out of a striving for better health.
