Desperate Housewives Fans?

I liked it.

But the season has been so on and off and now its gone again.

Most of my shows are taking these wierd breaks.

I dont mind waiting a few weeks for a new episode but after waiting a weeks i only get one new one and then another long break.

Bump...somewhat ok episode last night. Tired of Lynette having to bail Tom out. It seems like he is just a failure in life, and Lynette always comes in to save the day.

Last nights episode was overly silly. Who breaks into someones house to steal a dress? I'm getting a little tired of a grown ass woman (see: Susan) being more ditzy and clutsy than people half her age. Tom is...hurt. Kay. What else happened? I couldn't tell you.

Marcia Cross apparently DOES make the show.

^I was just thinking that, throughout the entire episode I was thinking "Something is missing for sure...why the hell is it so dreadfully uninteresting and boring?"

It IS true, Bree makes the fucking show, really has since Season 1. Felicity Huffman is praised because she's married to William Macy and that's it, she's always been boring to me on the show.

Carlos though, my god. I'd lick him from head to toe.

Yeah I've always felt Bree was the best character and Marcia Cross was the best actress among them.

And apparently we share the same thoughts on Carlos too. I had no idea he was that hot for some reason, lol.

Really what happened in this episode is no worse than what has happened in past episode. Susan has always been ditzy and clutsy--it's part of her character. Gaby always has a scheme to get her own way--it's part of her character. Lynette is a domineering woman--it's part of her character. Yes, Lynette always has to bail Tom out, but aside from the fact that she's smarter than him, the show is called Desperate Housewives. Plus, it was interesting that Lynette experienced major growth in this episode. It could easily have been a plot point that she decided to use the opportunity to make the changes she wanted at the restaurant but instead she realized she was being a jerk to her husband and decided to put on the god-awful orange shirt (the one that even makes Andrew look awful!)

I'm a Lynette fan and definately Bree after that. Even with the looney storyline Felicity Huffman is given as of late, she makes the best out of it... how did they manage the drop her character so badly after such a brilliant setup (ie. market shooting, phedophile man, new daughter, new job).

I don't buy the Edie crap for one second this episode. Moving on... it's sad, but I'm starting to get over this show.

Ok i just watched Sundays episode a while ago and WOW it was so good.

It was just ok for me until the final 7 or so minutes and then it turned into a WOW episode when Eddie up and stole the entire show with that one powerful scene.

WOW, that was incredibly scripted and just WOW, i was not expecting that. Eddie is growing up, it was so dramatic and well done. Lynette and Bree usually gets all the dramatic stuff but Eddie brought it tonight.

I didn't appreciate the Susan blackmail and she should have signed the prenup. It is so obvious that she is still inlove with Mike and besides, Ian though he may love Susan i have to question his motives.

Lynette's don't die speech almost made me cry but it was wrong to call the fat girl a pumpkin just so she can change the shirt.

Didn't like Eddie using her son to bag Carlos but her "see me for who i am" scene totally redeemed her.

Carlos was looking good, could lose some more weight though.

I think i laughed the most at the Gabby scene when she is leaving the house with all the dresses stuffed under the coat.

"Can you help me unhook the dress" LOL

I liked the line, "so i guess that means we are baby sitting" although it probably would have been funnier if Lynette said, "See you tomorrow, no actually see you when i get back because you are baby sitting."

travis sleepover? contrived.

The Mary Alice close was nice too.

Am i the only one that noticed the plumbers huge bulge in his tight pants? Right as he turned around from the fridge, BAM in your face. Wow He is packing and he is hot too.

No point in Mike taking off his shirt, but it was HOT.

Funniest lines,

Andrew: I'm doing the beer delivery guy.

Travis: He said you were bad in bed.

LMAO!! That's exactly what I said to my friends. Him taking his shirt off was completely pointless....but I'm not complaining.

Yawn, again. Does anyone else feel like these are episodes you normally see when a season is first starting not wrapping up? We could have not been watching the past two weeks and not missed a single thing non existent storyline wise.

The only way they could make the show more interesting (apart from bringing Marcia Cross back pronto) would be to have Mrs. McCluskey turn out to be some looney serial killer.

Minor detail, but the hottie in Gabby's house was probably a carpenter. She said he was fixing her cupboards. At first I thought he was a plumber too but then I remembered that if she needed a plumber she'd call Mike.

Either way, Gabby should be doing him not the politician. Funny how that actor gets typecast: he played the obnoxious politician who dated Carrie on Sex and the City, the one who was into water sports.

And yes, Andrew's "doing the beer guy" is classic. Actually, I half expected him to say something like, "Well, things are looking up here" when the hottie chef announced he'd be working there.

The freezer scared the crap out of me. I hate it when people on shows end up talking to corpses... creepy LOL

The carpenter guy was a nice surprise and I didn't remember the chef guy. Might have missed the episode he was on before this one, but I hope he stays around!

Kind of boring episode otherwise.

The chef was a new character, Lynette was interviewing for someone to fill in while Tom recovers and he presented a resume after the fat guy who was concerned with the food they didn't sell left.

Oh no, Mrs. McCluskey... you were so normal! Now you're some looney killer. Grreat. Ugh, this Mike and Susan thing.. am so over it. Wonder what Tom will say once he meets the new manager Andrew (and maybe Lynette) is kinda flubbered over.

Direct TV was coming in and out because of the storm. What happened at the end? Mrs. McCluskey is hiding someone in the freezer? Details on the ending please?

Exactly how I feel. I keep wondering why the writers can't just let Susan be happy with someone other than Mike. I personally like Ian when he isn't being a jealous freak.

And blueboy you pretty much answered your own question. Mrs. McCluskey has a body in her freezer, presumably of her dead husband.

What gets to me about that though, and this is just something I remembered, earlier in the season she was talking about her husband to Lynette about how he gave her the same present for their anniversary every year and that the year he 'died' she didn't cry. Yet in last nights episode she was having conversations with him like she missed him and what not. Plot hole, maybe?

I started lusting after Dougray Scott (Ian) when he starred as the hot prince opposite Drew Barrymore in the movie Ever After. His butt looked fine in tights...and that codpiece! !oops!

When Ian joined the cast I was hoping he would win out over Mike in getting Susan...but it is painfully obvious that Susan is still in love with Mike and will eventually drop Ian...oh well. (Anyone think they'll make it to the altar and then she'll pull a runaway bride?) Him not being able to swim and having to have Mike rescue him was kinda funny...and he looked pretty good wet...but I guess the writers have to make him flawed (the jealous, insecure, dull, unathletic aristocrat) so that the viewers (not me though) will be routing and anticipating Mike and Susan's getting back together...how predictable (hope I'm wrong). I laughed out loud when I read your posts about Mike taking off his shirt.

I'm also hoping Andrew gets more of a storyline...his cocky attitude and witty comments always crack me up...and, besides that, he's :sex: !
