Desperate Housewives Fans?

This episode wasnt that good. Poor Mrs. Mclusky.... I thought she was the normal one on the street.

Exactly how I feel. I keep wondering why the writers can't just let Susan be happy with someone other than Mike. I personally like Ian when he isn't being a jealous freak.

The Susan/Mike "will they or won't they" seems to be the show's plot point for her character. Don't expect much to change. After all, this whole season with her dumping Mike for Ian was ridiculous. If she really is in love with him she would have stayed by his side.

BTW, did anyone else think it was weird that Ian's parents made no mention of his recently dead wife?

And how does Julie feel about all this. As usual, the kids only show up when necessary to the plot.

As for Mrs. M., I was disappointed in the hubbie in the freezer thing (though I saw it coming when she grabbed the first fudgsicle). Personally I hope this was just a "See? She's just as weird as everyone else on the street" and don't open it up as a plot point. Still, it does explain why she hid Mike's toolbox...

Lynette needs to divorce Tom...I kinda wished that Tom had died instead of Rex Van de Kamp.

NOOOOOO!!!! I like Tom...and the show needs at least one "happily" ;) married couple. Tom is such a beaten man though...he's in competition with Lynette on everything...and never gets to win. She was a better ad exec than him, he couldn't run their house/kids very orderly, she's better at running the pizzeria than him...I even remember one scene where they were in bed and she was on top.... She has totally emasculated him...now it looks like an affair could be brewing with Lynette and Rick. I'm intrigued with this storyline...hoping (for now anyway) that they will ultimately stay together. Tom somehow has to win one...a big one...and not from her letting him win either. She needs to be put in her place! :didisay:

I also like Tom and Lynette together. To place Lynette with the other guy would be disastrous. It's like to place Susan with Ian. Oh wait.. They are doing that. Pleazzzzzee. I think the world is sick of this Susan Mike Ian thing. Ian cannot measure up to Mike's biceps. And Mike too, the person. Of course.

You know what. I like Gabriel and the gray hair guy. I like to see them together.

And what we really need now is gay plots, for heaven sake.

I thought it was a good episode (I just watched it last night), but I did fast-forward a little more than usual. The problem is Marcia Cross's absence. Felicity is a wonderful actress, but Marcia is the heart of the show for me. Marcia's "bedrest/maternity" leave has allowed them to focus on Edie more and also the "Mrs. McClusky's dead husband in the freezer" story line, which is fun. I was also happy to see Susan develop a backbone with Ian and Mike. Would love to see Andrew and the beer delivery guy he said he's hooking up with.

Yeah I like the Gabriella/future mayor storyline...I hope that they get married. Oh by the way, whatever happened to that kid that was rich and hitting on her...I forget his name and what happened to him.

That's Zach, Mike's biological son, who was raised by Mary Alice (the dead narrator, who killed Zach's biological mother and then committed suicide when she was blackmailed about it) and her husband (who's in prison for murdering Zach's aunt, who isn't really dead.) Confused yet? Anyhoo, Carlos drove Zack away from Gabbie. (And Carlos told Gabbie she hadn't had sex with Zach, because he saw his cock in the bathroom and it was so huge, she'd have remembered it even if she were drunk that night.) Just a typical day on Wysteria Lane. (And Zach will surely be back sooner or later.)

Rick and Carlos would be THE HOTTEST THING EVER.

I would hit Carlos, Rick, Mike, and Tom until I was numb from the waist down.

First season was great. Second season was o.k. but fell apart when they totally changed the storylines midstream. I turned off LAST NIGHTS episode half way thru.
I can't believe they are hinting at an affair by Lynett. This show seems to change peoples personalities to fit the episode or storyline. Remember when Zac came back? THAT was horrible! I guess I'm done with DH now, though I might catch an episode once Bree comes back.

My take is that Desperate Housewives is not "long for this world." Putting Jason Gedrick on a show is a sure-fire kiss of death!

This new Lynette is nothing like the Lynette we know from season 1, 2 or heck, even earlier this season. If they write her into an affair, they've finally lost me for good.

Well, given that Tom is a bit of a prick, it's not surprising she might have her interests wander. I think, though, that she's just enjoying the attention and flirtation. We haven't yet seen her do anything with Rick. And besides, when the family showed up thus breaking her "date" with Rick, she didn't seem upset that they did arrive.

If any plot is totally useless it's the Susan/Mike/Ian thing. I won't go into how the whole Ian love affair was ridiculous to begin with. Instead I'll just comment on how stupid she really must be to give all this thought about which man to pick and then pick the wrong one. D'uh!!

The eppy was good. One of the better ones this season.

Nit picking - Lynette even though she is trying to look hot for the new manager, should have been wearing a hair net.

I am happy that Mrs Mc is kinda of in the clear, but at the start of the episode, Lynette seemed peeved that Mrs. Mc gave her sond popsicles from the same freezer and then near the end all is fine and dandy and she is baby sitting again.

"Corpsicle" lol Gabby cracks me up.

Sad whenever a relationship ends but, Ian did the right thing because we all knew she was still inlove with Mike.

Its kind of weird not having Bree and whats even more is how they can fill fill an hour without her and it doesn't seem like anything is missing. What if Marcia Cross didn't go on leave? What would have been her storyline?

The overall "goosip" theme was dealt with very well and Mary Alice's voiceover was good.

lol That's true. All the employees seem to wear one.

It seems rather odd and forced that Bree is gone, but then, I sort of missed the whole excuse for her leaving. Usually there are imaginative ways to cover up an actress' pregnancy. Maybe she should've put her back out instead of Tom, then she could lie in bed with the covers over her.

The excuse was that her and Orson went on a belated Honeymoon. Honestly, for me, Marcia Cross' pregnancy has ruined season 3 for me. Even before she went on bed rest. Because before then, her scenes were short in order to hide the pregnancy.

Bree has always been my favorite character, and Marcia has always been my favorite actress on this show. Without her, it just doesn't have that spark. It's just an ordinary show.

Without Bree, the show seems to be lacking ...seems more lighthearted and comedic (fluff). I liked the drama that her storylines brought to the show. The entire show's balance is off because all the main players are so different personality wise and one integral part is missing...her being the reserved and sophisticated one, slightly twisted, who is obsessed with creating the perfect image of herself. And, I miss her delivering muffins ...Mrs. McKlusky could have used some...Susan....Tom...Ian...etc...

And Tom's daughter...iforgothername...what a little bitch. She's just like her Mother...manipulative (I love her!).

I totally agree with you. Bree is one of the main reasons I watch the show and you can most certainly tell the difference between the episodes with her and with out her. Im glad they actually mentioned her in this past week but they desperately need to get her back. The ratings have even been slipping. I think they have hit and all time low around 15 million viewers.

Bree was my fave too and I think Marcia should have won an Emmy before Felicity Hoffman. She was awesome during Rex's funeral , when she changed the tie. And she had other stand out eps.

But then again i felt Eva Longoria should have won an Emmy for the Lawnmower scene from season one. Now that was comedy.

Re: Toms daughter, i believe her name is Kayla, no offense to the actress but she seems fake and i don't like her delivery of her lines, they don't seem natural they way she says it and makes up her face.
