Desperate Housewives Fans?

Bree was my fave too and I think Marcia should have won an Emmy before Felicity Hoffman. She was awesome during Rex's funeral , when she changed the tie. And she had other stand out eps.

But then again i felt Eva Longoria should have won an Emmy for the Lawnmower scene from season one. Now that was comedy.

Re: Toms daughter, i believe her name is Kayla, no offense to the actress but she seems fake and i don't like her delivery of her lines, they don't seem natural they way she says it and makes up her face.

If anything, Marcia should've won for season two rather than Julia Louis-Dreyfuss. Then again, Lisa Kudrow was BRILLIANT in every sense of the word in 'The Comeback'. As for this season... I doubt any Housewife would win since breakout star America Ferrera ('Ugly Betty') has pretty much got it locked up.

Marcia should've won for season two, I agree. That scene where she left Andrew at the gas station....I was like....

Yes, I believe it was the dramatic elements on DH should've gotten Marcia a nomination last year much like the first season when Felicity won for her dramatic chops.

The excuse was that her and Orson went on a belated Honeymoon. Honestly, for me, Marcia Cross' pregnancy has ruined season 3 for me. Even before she went on bed rest. Because before then, her scenes were short in order to hide the pregnancy.

Bree has always been my favorite character, and Marcia has always been my favorite actress on this show. Without her, it just doesn't have that spark. It's just an ordinary show.

Thanks. Did they take the daughter with them? I know she was being sent away...

Hmm....good question. I know they sent Austin away, but I'm not sure what they did with Danielle.

Danielle is away until she has her baby and it's adopted. That was the plan anyway. But knowing Danielle, anything could happen.

I'm thinking she's with a family member, but I could be wrong.

I wonder why they made her pregnant in the first place. I guess they figured with mom and Orson gone, Andrew could take care of himself, but Danielle would get into trouble if left on her own.

That's a good question, too. It would've been interesting to see what trouble she got herself into with mommy and daddy gone. Plus there could've been some nasty catfighting between her and Julie.

They may have wanted closure between Julie and Austin and/or they may have just wanted to get rid of Austin, so they could concentrate on other storylines. Without Austin there wasn't much point in Danielle having much screen time.

The Austin storyline ended so abruptly that I wonder what the point was.

I'm glad DH managed to avoid the Lynette cheating thing. For the first time this season, one of the housewives finally look like they're trapped and 'desperate'.
