'Desperate Housewives' begins its 5th season on Sunday, September 28th. Season 5 will open five years down the road, and there's a big new mystery. I don't know about you guys, but I cannot wait.

im a bit worried about the show loosing its flair and excitement, now that they have gone 5 yrs forward. Might get a bit boring, hope not though, i love that show!!!

Well they have been pretty tight lipped about what the five year jump has in store. Last years didn't give anything away either.

Haha thats why I enjoy the show. The mix of comedy, camp, dark humor and drama. And the over the top plot twists and the always growing body count.
But yes, there have been several characters that I couldn't care less about. But none of them were around (or alive) for long. :-)
 
Was it just a rumor that Beyonce was gonna play a part in it?

Anyway, by now, I still think it's a wonderful show.

Yes, it was a rumor. Marc already said he's not allowing big stars to do cameos. That's why he turned down Britney.
 
I actually like this new promo better than last seasons. I hated when all five women marched down the street wearing lingerie. It was really tacky.
 
TV had a picture of the "new" Scavo" family with the older kids. The twins are now being played by 20 year old brothers and wow! They're cute!

I'm liking where everything is going already. Its like a new show. :)
 
I'm loving my girl Susan all over again. Her storyline is my favorite thus far. Though I really would like to know the backstory on Bree/Orson/Danielle.
 
So I watched it, and it's too early in the season to say how I'm gonna like the storyline.

I can however, say without a doubt that I'm really liking the new Scavo twins. ..|
