That's simply not true. People are just as strict about their preferences online as they are in person.

Trust me, I know this for a fact. Unfortunately I'm a person of color and have to deal with this "discrimination".

I'm Asian and not into white guys, so I guess I'm in the minority here. My best guy friend is a white guy, and according to my other gay friends, he is very hot, but I'm just not attracted to him in that way and never even thought of him in that way. In fact, I didn't even notice that he was hot in the traditionally-expected way (tall, light hair, light eyes) until other people told me.

Most of my boyfriends have been black (both African American and African immigrant).

I'm Asian, and I've found myself attracted to guys of all races. That being said, I've got a weakness for Asian guys, mixed-race guys and caucasian guys with brown hair. I don't know why, but blondes do absolutely nothing for me at all.

Definitely Pacific Islanders - I used to live in a small island in Micronesia and damn those island boys makes my "pākanaloa" go boing! My first boyfriend was hawaiian and he's a polynesian dancer...total closet case though.

Also I really find very dark skinned african/african-american guys really appealing. Someone like Djimon Hounsou ugh yum! Same goes to dark skinned women, I think they're very beautiful.

ADD:

I wanna add, Jewish (or Jewish looking) guys with minimal shaven beards are so sexy! Somebody like David Blaine or Ryan Star.

I found your comments comparing Beijing Olympics to Asian men trying hard to impress white men incredibly insulting. I am sorry but only the Asian men in America have problems with inferior complex which is caused by the inherent racism in AMERICAN society and AMERICAN media. You cannot possibly blame Asia and their suffering when Europeans imperialists are the ones who started the white supremacy ideology. I don't think you will forget Jews in Europe were once also victimized.

Also, fact check, Japan was occupied by United States after World War II and was forced to open their country in 19th century. FYI, people in Asia appreciate their culture and heritage. Please do not generalize us with some gay Asian men thank you.

Yeah, but Jews aren't trying to impress the rest of the world at this point (espeically since nothing's going to change the prevailing antisemitism) I'm not blaming China or anything but it's pretty clear the Olympics was a big show to cover insecurities. Obviously the West created this complex but China has fallen into the trap.

Just for physical attraction, I'm drawn to Asian guys. Skinny, baby faced, smooth Asian guys. Just beautiful. I could look at them all day, like art.

But I'm also physically attracted to all other races and colors and whatever. I like cute, skinny, baby faced guys for the most part. A bit of a muscular build is nice too. And I LOVE olive skin. Don't know why, just do. I prefer guys with some skin color as far as the physical attraction goes, to include black guys.

But when it comes down to being with a guy, having a relationship and stuff, it really doesn't matter. I may be more immediately drawn to a certain "type" of guy, but I don't shun others either.

The guy I'm "with" right now is Mexican and I love his body and skin color, but I'm "with" him because I love HIM. He's nice, caring, smart, funny, sensitive about the right things, and honest. That beats a skin color preference anyday.

And if it matters, I'm a white guy.

The majority of the time I find myself attracted mainly to white/caucasian men and then latin men but in saying that there have been Asian and African American men that i've also found attractive.

To me, I'm asian, but I still haven't found really WHAT kind of race I specifically like...... I guess for me it's like "I'll know one when I see one". Some guys, no matter how hot/handsome/cute they are..... I just don't seem to like.... while others, on the other hand, I can spot them a mile away.

I tend towards white guys like 60% of the time, but I can't think of any race from which I haven't found an attractive guy... except for maybe the Aborigians of Oceania. But then again, I haven't seen all that many of them in my life to begin with.

I'm mixed(Blk/Cbn). I chose partners based on age, personality and body type mostly, sometimes money lol(I'm 20 can always use some extra cash). If I were to rank races though it would prob go:

1.Mixed races
2.Hispanic
3Asian
4.Black
5.White

4 and 5 fluctuate a lot but 1-3 are pretty solid. I think that whites are generally more closed minded while mixed race people and some ethnic people are more open. I know I have tried a lot of crazy things and will continue too.

HONESTLY...

i find white men super HOT, however i dont think any minority male is attractive, i mean if i see and atractive asian than i know theyre good looking but thats it.

HOWEVER...

i find women of minority hot, and i dont find white women hot, attractive yes, hot , no

IDK i guess im just weird like that

Well I think having a preference isn't being a racist at all. I'm Asian and I really don't mind it if somebody tells me he isn't interested in me. I mean, heck, these things can't be forced onto someone right?

And it's strange how many posters here who are asian who have a thing for white guys, cos I'm exactly the same.

And I'm surrounded by Russian guys, some of whom look better than some of the actors from Hollywood. For goodness sake there are some lecturers here in my campus who can give people like Brad Pitt a run for their money! It's all I can do to stop myself from drooling during lessons.
