Do White guys like asian guys? why and why not?

Yes he is. He's the sort that walks into science labs and insists that the mineralogists must describe coal as "non-white"; biologists must describe panthers as as "non-white".

No, I did not. What I actually said was completely clear to anyone with college level reading comprehension in the English language. If you did not understand something, then ask a question, rather than intentionally repeating a false summary of my position.

White guys dating East Asian guys is not unheard of, esp. in California & in major cities like NYC, Boston & Wash DC

But the real question is.....

Do White guys like South Asian guys?? (guys from India)

Yes, depends on how fit you are ;)

As ever, you are attacking the person instead of merely rebutting argument. Stubborn is an accusation of a lack of comity, not meaningful in an exchange of competing ideas. "I don't see why you brought it up at all" is little more than a claim that the opponent is irrational. How hard is it just to argue positions rather than invariably demean in order to discredit?

That's interesting from you. I probably don't know anyone else around JUB who is more routinely personally miffed by what should be a topical disagreement, particularly with how heavily you participate in such a wide variety of discussions and at great length.

In any event, I have explained why I didn't think it really had any bearing in this context, unless we are accepting that broad loosely associated racial tendencies of body shapes or phenotypic traits exists to such an extent that one could entirely predict attraction or lack thereof for all individuals of that group -- for example, no Asians ever have body hair, all Asians fall under 5'5" in height, or similar. The traits of neoteny listed by Alnitak will vary, like racial genetics, as much between individuals as you could ever predict it would vary between groups. So I reject it not just as an explanation of "no Asians" not just as a rational explanation, but also as a rational excuse.

I have no idea if that was his intention in bringing it up or not. Like I said, I have no idea why he brought it up.

I did not say there are not phenotypical variances between what we recognize as racial groups nor that these traits have not been influenced by evolution; any attempt by you or him to claim I'm trying to "silence that science" is simply fabricated. But since you cannot draw for me which of those traits in what measure will appear on an individual after I simply tell you "He's an Asian guy" with absolutely any precision or reliability, within the context of this discussion of attraction it doesn't make any sense in the discussion.

One day. There will be a gay website without great big "why don't white dudes like me?" threads. People have racialized preferences, but despite the hype and the general fuckwittedness in the way that people (mostly gay white guys) express those, we really do tend to interact with one another as individuals not as representatives of some group.

My husband is white and still not that into most black guys.

I'm not really convinced race is a useful way of categorizing people, even visually. BUT there's something that comes to mind if a guy is described as being a member of a given racial group.

Asian guys are hot, even exotic to American guys, but who cares we're all guys

^^ This... Asian gay men are the biggest white worshipers in western society.
Maybe they're afraid of the big black cock meat. Who knows?

Don't generalise! I for one, find Black guys extremely attractive. It's not because of the BBC meat; I don't really know what it is physically that made me veer towards one rather than a white guy but they are just too hot!

Like most questions, the answer is: it depends.

I'm white, and I love Asian guys. Perhaps a little too much. But I know other people who disagree with me. It totally depends on the guy and what they find attractive.

Asian isn't a race.

Asian isn't an ethnicity.

Asian isn't a nationality.

Asian isn't a linguistic group.

Asian is only a political term used to avoid using Mongolian, which was racial, Oriental, which was Eurocentric, Indian, which is ambiguous due to American Indians, and Russian since Europeans grouped Russians with Europe as long as they were White.

Asian might as well be an identification of other since Koreans identify as Koreans, Pakistanis identify as Pakistani, Chinese Identify as Chinese, etc.

Asia is a continent, period.

Are we now nitpicking semantics? I'm not sure what this has to do with the content of my post. Technically there are no "races", but clearly that is not the subject under discussion.

And phenotypical is not the sole difference between genetic groups.

And no one said they were, but the subjects under discussion were not ranging into blood factors or immunology or a million other possible things that may have variances by racial grouping. The phenotypical traits will really be the only ones pertinent when it comes to a discussion about attraction.

So are we just nitpicking things to not be wrong, now?

This was settled years ago.

Asians have small penises.

So...um...yeah...move on.

They are small and you know it when the main event comes up.

Is this awkward humor that's "ok" because you are Asian or are you someone I need to encourage to take advantage of your state's liberal physician assisted suicide policy?
