^^So when you're on a date do you go to the Movies first then dinner?
I'm flexible but I prefer that. We can linger at dinner and discuss the movie amongst other things.
What about you?

Yes - how DARE movie theatres NOT serve alcohol!!!!
It's been a couple of years but, Ariel and I would go to the dollar store and pick up about four choco bars and a couple of drinks. It cost about $4.
I pay for the Soda & Popcorn (and the theatre gives free-refills on both)..
I'm going to see "Wolf Man" Tonight with a couple of Sci-Fi Geek-buds and we DARE the snow-storm to get in our way..
In Florida we have a concept called Cinema Bistro where you can see a movie and have dinner including wine and cocktails. Seems too gimmicky though.
If we brought in a containers we could have sodas and popcorn free too. The theaters make most of their money on the concession stands. The cost of admission goes towards studios and actors.red bull (vodka optional,) sandwich, any kind of candy.
You gotta be kidding me!I just got back from the movies. They wanted $5 for a bottle of water. I went without.![]()
Did the clerk have a gun and a mask? You gotta be kidding me!Did the clerk have a gun and a mask?

Yes - how DARE movie theatres NOT serve alcohol!!!! A pint of booze could last a double feature...just switch theatres after the first one and save on ticket prices as well.![]()
Since they are not the police they cannot search your bags. I just take a backpack with me .. no "sneaking" in. Usually I bring a bag of crisps or just some chocolate![]()

I used to take in mini's of Jack Daniels to mix with the coke i bought; but I haven't done that in a long time. One local theater (not the mega-chain) serves beer, wine or mixed drinks. I try to go there, not because they serve drinks, but because it is locally owned and operated.

I just got back from it. I want to know what you think of it tonight. I am thinking of going to watching Percy Jackson in a few hours, but after WolfMan I don't know.
