On television, Geraldo always had no strippers, as well as Donahue, and Im amazed that Armando* and Tom Marinelli were shown because you can see their ass after they finish stripping.

The video has been transferred once or twice so there are some 'hiccups' on the video

Im thinking there might be 2 major reasons

1. Speedo was "in" back then..any prop from music videos, movies used that as costume of choice ie: Sci Fi movie= speedo! Jurassic movie= speedo! Super hero= speedo! Yoga instruction= speedo! (Im not kd, I saw one with speedo instructor)
and today..speedo isn't "in" anymore, a left over style.

2. It might because audience are getting male-crotch phobia more evenso than before. We replace speedo with bulge over shorts, mesh shorts, jeans or dress pants which I feel personally lackluster compared to speedo :(
