I really enjoyed it, even though Moffit fooled me completely. I thought red bowtie Dr. was a ganger and blue bowtie the real Dr. But red bowtie was the real doctor and blue bowtie the teselectra. (Although he was inside it.)
I loved. loved, loved machine gun toting Amy: "Pond...Amy Pond."
Enjoyed the visuals of the mashed up world.
As always Alex Kingston was the highlight for me. And what a naughty Doctor making secret conjugal visits to River!
Matt Smith is filming the Christmas special now (Amy and Rory are in it, but it just may be a cameo.) and has signed up for a third series. People seem to think it'll be his last.
I just read that 2013 will be the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, and folks are expecting fireworks.
I felt this episode tied things up pretty neatly, but still left a few questions unanswered. I do agree the pace was very hectic, but they had a lot to cover in 45 minutes.
And for some reason we don't get those "prequels" on BBC America. Probably so they can fit in another commercial.
