Doctor Who Season 3

Well there has been a lot of speculation of Russell T Davies giving the show up as he wants to work on other stuff and without it's producer/reviver I don't think the show would continue as a series.

Mind you it is only speculation. Although they were sort of right about Martha being axed so it could be true.

I don't think RTD is giving up just yet I am sure i read he would give another year or so to it.
But I did think Davids contract was only for three seasons.

I can't find the interview now but I am sure it indicated that he would work on the show up to season six or year six which would be season five or six depends on how he looks at it.

I have just found this it is not looking good is it!??

'Steven Moffat, who has written some of the most memorable episodes of the BBC's new Doctor Who, told SCI FI Wire that fans have no cause to worry that the rumored departure of executive producer Russell T. Davies at the end of the fourth season will mean the end of the franchise, but he did not deny the rumor.
When asked if he might be the one to take over should Davies leave the show, Moffat appeared slightly uncomfortable. "Next question," he answered after a long pause. "There's a lot of things to think about there." The third season of Doctor Who is currently running on SCI FI Channel Friday nights at 8 p.m. '

Oh well we are used to change on Doctor Who so I am sure all will work out whatever happens.

Apparently we're going to have to wait until next year for the next series of Torchwood.

Yes next year is a long way off.
But at least we will get James Marsters as another omnisexual being who seems to have a past with Jack. maybe it will be worth the wait.

I'm not sure about James Nesbitt, I can't really see him in the role myself. He is a good actor though.

I'm still in denial that David is even thinking about quiting! Come on David!! give us 4 more seasons and last longer then baker!! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!

*sobs*

No I really don't like the idea of James Nesbitt at all it just does not sit right.

I swear Kylie at Christmas Donna most of S4, I have to say I'm not looking forward to the new series as each day passes bring back Martha for keeps!

Martha gotta go do something for Torchwood first. Then she will rejoin the Doctor!! That's why they wrote her out. Way I see it, Season 4 will more then likely have Martha, Donna and maybe Capt Jack back again. Wonder who the major villian will be. Don't like the idea that (if the rumours are true) David will be leaving half way through the series. :(

Be really cool if the could have the 10th Doctor team up with the 9th Doctor for a last three episodes of Season 4!! :D

RTD has said he hated those type of episodes but he could be lying as he said that about the master.

Apparently Ben Kingsley is in talks to play Davros in season 4.

wow....Davros back. I wondered what the hell happened to him. Well where there's Davros...there's Daleks! Wonder if the timelord going to find others like him....others that ran and hide during the invasion?!

It's official!!!!

We finally have the REAL reason Christopher Eccelstone left Doctor Who after just one season!!

Was it because of contract negoations? no. Was it because he didn't want to be type-casted? no. Was it because he was a money grubbing actor? no.....

The reason will shock you!! :D

So with out further ado.....Here's Eccelstone singing his reason for leaving Doctor Who!!

GOOD NEWS ALERT!!!!!!!!

Big announcement about Doctor Who in 2009 from the Beeb. Basically, we're getting a 'year off' - three specials, no regular series, with RTD & Tennant confirmed for 2009 with the show returning for a regular series in 2010. There was some gossiping going on about this because Tennant confirmed he's going to be doing Shakespear in 2008 & the dates clashed with the normal filming of the show. This confirmation & announcement for 2009/10 iis leading to some gossiping/hypothesizing that RTD & Tennant won't be back for 2010...
