Actually there isn't really any kind of music I can listen to non-stop. I suppose classic rock comes the closest, but what I really like is a mix of the best from classical to Broadway to jazz to country to blues......
Of course I do.
When all my new-age, brilliant, liberal, egalitarian friends stabbed me in the back, I kept thinking, "all those good ole boys I grew up with and rebelled against would never have done me that low..."
I'm a huge Roger Miller fan, just as a character and a lyricist.
What's freaking me out lately is the new "Bootie Break" music - when did C&W fuse with Hip-Hop? It sort of scares me to think I might like it... I can certainly get behind the idea of it.

I like a lot of it, but I don't have much time for the 'my wife left me for the pastor, I sat on my guitar, my house burned down and all I've got is my dog' kind of stuff, and I'm also not a great fan of the 'Yee-haa, fiddle like a demon and dance like I've tasered my asshole' kind of stuff - but the easy going kind and mid-tempo linedance kind of country music I really like.![]()
