Haven't got anyone on ignore and I never have and I probably never will. As others have said, just scroll past posts or don't open threads by people whose words you don't like to read. I'm probably on a few lists though, most likely for the heinous crime of being female :rolleyes:
 
I think a better function would be for JUB to have some way of showing you how many people are ignoring you. Not necessarily name names, just numbers as a social wake up call that perhaps you're being a bit out of line and no one wants to hear your temper tantrum.

Was meaning to remove him almost immediately afterwards but he is such an extra I totes forgot he existed.

That's not a bad idea.

That could get a lot of lurkers (and fun sockpuppets) signing up just to get my numbers up. I like it.



No, really, it seems that sometimes people just go on and on with bad behaviors believing that they are well received - many of those people are great, otherwise - and having a somewhat polite way of telling/showing them that people are getting ticked, and so too are their 'bad' numbers, might actually work out well.

Please do submit your idea to the proper authorities for approval. :) Right away!
 
Don't like everyone but I won't put anyone on ignore because why make them think they're better than me and think they've won? I just don't associate with them. Very few here, actually....I try to like or at least understand people, but every so often there's one who rubs you the wrong way and it just doesn't click at all.

It most certainly has, and anyone with a set of eyes will know as well. It's not like I have to prove anything. Actually a thread in HT that hit five pages last month of pointless .gifs between you and three other people. I don't keep people on ignore, either.

You have an average of 53 posts a day. I have 2, and despite my username, have been posting here since 2008. I think we have different definitions of 'handful'. :lol: I'm not making up stories. Given the eleven personal comments I've received on the five posts I've made in this thread that agree with me, well...no exaggeration/story fabrication is occurring.

But again, carry on with your bandwidth hogging/zero input to anything worthwhile. I don't care. You two made a thread on "Don't Ignore Me", and got bitchy over people explaining why they do. Don't shoot the messenger, blame the medium. ;)
 
I love everyone here. The gifs are really annoying though and I've been wondering how to avoid pages of them.

After reading this thread I've decided to ignore you all, alphabetically, for random durations of time, and random days of the week....but come leap year, all you fuckers are unignored.....:lol:


It would seem that if someone bugs you enough to put them on ignore, you know you'll have to find out what you're missing. So the ignore thingy is just a ruse.
 
I love the gifs. Seriously I would post them right now if I weren't using my phone.

What bogs me down are the embedded videos.
