There's been reports on twitter and eventually the online media outlets that someone or some people have been targetting fat people and giving them 'fat shaming' cards.

Do you think the perpetrator should be named and shamed?

That's terrible. You know what? I think it might be backlash caused by SJW's.... so now, innocent people are now being targeted because of extremely thin-skinned SJW's who cry "fat-shaming" and "oppression" (among many other things) and get offended at everything they see, even where there's nothing to be offended about.
Since they also hate men, white people, non-trans people, etc...., imagine the backlash from that.
 
Is this fat shaming club just for sociopaths and people who lack empathy?...or can anyone join?

I suppose it doesn't even occur to the people handing them out how truly ugly they are.....

I'm sorry, but I have this problem when it comes to people who use SJW, I immediately discredit their opinion on being anything of value. I'm seeing too much of this bullshit opinion now that people are doing these things to themselves to get attention. Do the people who take part in this opinion do it because they're afraid to acknowledge that people are this hateful? Or do they just lack empathy themselves?

There is so much god damn hatred in this world that it doesn't matter if this was fake and set up.

Giving it press attention or police attention only gives the juvenile minds motivation.

Unless someone's pushing fat people onto the tracks, let it be.

It doesn't deserve the focus and only serves to disseminate the hate speech. Maybe the real target is the ludicrous hate speech laws that the parochial society tries to enforce. Thought police.

Ultimately, you can only regulate behavior, not thought or speech. Suppressing it only drives it underground.

I rarely use the London underground, or an underground at all, and it's very very unlikely that I'd get such a card [my size is (UK) "44T", = North American "48T" I presume], but if I would ever be witness of such an encounter, I'd immediately help the victims to have a seat. On top ……… of that stupid card guy. (It simply can't hurt him, since his evidently underdeveloped brain cannot be damaged by suffocation, I suppose.) Yes, I have certain methods to regulate behavior ;)
 
You'd think they could just trap the guy and smother him in a Dutch oven. It's the only appropriate punishment. Hell, London's got camera's on every citizen picking his nose, so they already know who this skinny supremacist is.

Possibly not the best idea to assume he's skinny.
Weight is one of those things that even overweight people feel little empathy about.
 
Why are the people who are receiving the notes from strangers getting so upset? Just throw the note away. You'll never meet the person face to face.

Well the card has a certain impact so I can understand that they might be worried. Knowing that there is someone hating you and warning you that way is like being threatened somehow.
 
At least these haters are upfront about it, unlike most haters who would never admit it or claim to be able to justify their hatred.

I think most haters are angry people who hate themselves more than anyone else, I suspect.
 
I would love to see someone putting a message like that on any of my friends things. I would beat the living shit out of them. No problem. What they are doing is fucked up!
