Should've Told Me - Kelly Price

As We Lay - Kelly Price

Good songs, great voice
I think she's mostly doing Gospel now

(Sad that people like J.Lo & Ashanti can have multiple hits but powerful voices like Kelly's don't have the same success)

I didn't think the last two were 90's, but you make a VERY valid point! Miss her... she needs to do a new r&b/soul album.

Technically they were 2000, but I figured close enough lol, good songs

Re: Favorite Euro bubble gum pop act of the 90's

That blonde girl from Steps, Claire I think he name is, the one singing solo in that video posted above, was so damn beautiful. Now she's all fat and has pregnancy weight all over her body. :(

Jeez the choregraphed dancing in that song is so lame! Good for a laugh though.

Yea it is a shame she was very beautiful but I would prefer to see Claire fat then desperate like Mrs. Scoot-Lee.

The dances were suppose to be simple for the gimmick, 8 year olds (like me at the time) had to be able learn them. :gogirl:

Re: Favorite Euro bubble gum pop act of the 90's

AllSTARS - They had two of the cutest guys ever for any pop group, and one of my all time favorite pop songs, Back When:

these guys were cool and I agree the to guys were cute. They supported Steps when I saw them I thought they were going to hit guess they came along to late.

Loved those to songs and The Land Of Make Believe.

Re: Favorite Euro bubble gum pop act of the 90's

Yea, Lisa Scott Lee was very 'desperate' indeed while she was trying to make it big while managing her brothers and also from her solo career. Unlike H and Claire though, the other members of Steps simply couldn't sing well enough to make it on their own.

This song from H + Claire rocked my world back when it was released:

Faye could sing and she got a lot of solos, most the song was split up with Claire and Faye singing the verses and Lisa saying a word in a breathy voice. H obviously did all the male sinning cause lee could not in the slightest. But his over singing of every word annoys me. Half a Heat and DJ were both songs but I lost interest after that.

Yes, they were. I forgot to include them and some of these acts were actually started in the 00's. So it should be "bubble gum pop acts of the late 90's and early 00's". Oh well. #-o
