Ok, I'll try a li'l'ist:
1) Sunset Boulevard...Just saw it for the first time. Every line is electric. One of America's great metaphor-plays.
2) King Kong. Scariest? [See it when you're six years old]
3) African Queen
4) Blade Runner. Cinematography/Set Design.
5) Pulp Fiction. Best movie since 'Workers Leaving a Factory'?
6) Ishtar. By far the best worst movie. Quite funny. Skewers the Reagan Era.

I would have to say the Lord of the Rings trilogy followed by the original Star Wars trilogy. In close third would be the first two Godfather movies. Other favorites would be Brokeback Mountain, Gladiator (2000 version with Russell Crowe not the 1992 movie), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
