Re: R.I.P. Prince

What pisses me off is the media comparing him to that pedophile Michael Jackson. They should have given his doctor the Noble Peace Prize.

Can't say I'm surprised when a great artist dies. There's a lot of pain with that comes with creative genius. With money many fall into addiction, suicide, or don't take care of themselves.

don't know why you trying to share your ugliness with a dead man. the irony is your dumbass choose one of his albums as your username. shut up.

Re: R.I.P. Prince

I'm jammin the essential Prince collection tonight....so many awesome songs

Re: R.I.P. Prince

Love his music.
His death was truly sad to hear :(
Same could be said when I heard about David Bowie's death earlier this year

Re: R.I.P. Prince

Sa sad that Google purple rain suddenly erased with Google earth day in a matter of minutes

Re: R.I.P. Prince

Chaka Khan did this tribute to him some years back.....

Re: R.I.P. Prince

Prince has worked with some pretty significant artists such as Sheena Easton, Shelia E, and Chaka Khan. I Feel For You and Nothing Compares 2 U are some of my favorite songs written by him.

Re: R.I.P. Prince

Completely sold out on Amazon. Used copies are being re-sold at ridiculous prices.

Re: R.I.P. Prince

This is idiotic post.
This is the best time to talk about his dirty secrets while people are interested.

So if the pointless hateful rumor was Prince had cancer would that be a dirty secret, or only disease such as HIV? You're pretty fucked up then.

Re: R.I.P. Prince

Years ago after a friend died, I was told that it was from AIDS. I exploded. It wasn't AIDS that killed him, it was kidney failure.

This is not North Korea.
You should live in North Korea if you don't like people talking shit.

Niagra Falls was lit in purple in his honor. (Click to enlarge)

As was the CN Tower in Toronto:

It seems a generation of musicians 70s-80s is passing, but it's still awfully young. 16% of Americans don't live to their 65th birthday.

Re: R.I.P. Prince

Being from Minnesota myself, I can say that yesterday was quite a sad day for us!

When a friend of mine had posted a link on Facebook, I hadn't believed it, especially given the source.

Approximately an hour later, I heard it was confirmed by his publicist that Prince had indeed passed away.

A few friends and I met for dinner last night at a restaurant, and contemplated going to First Avenue (see link), however after seeing how busy it was, we decided not to go.

The Interstate 35-W Bridge was colored Purple last evening, in Prince's honor, as was the Lowry Avenue Bridge (pictured below, respectively).

May Prince Rest in Peace.

I have had the reverse
Some time ago a friend died and the cause of death was stated as AIDS related
It wasn't. It was a heroin overdose

Re: R.I.P. Prince

Knowing the cause of his untimely death will arose curiosity as it is natural among human beings. But beware of the pitiful bitches who will use Prince's ambiguous lifestyle as a reason to attack gay and bisexual men while reassigning AIDS as a gay disease. (IF that turns out to be the cause.)
