As someone said...the story that he got upset by seeing two men kissing was nonsense. He had seen this hundreds of times.

Apparently though...he would get blind drunk and abusive...hated Jews and Latinos.

I suspect we might find that he had been rejected by some latino dudes along the way.

From what I've read, there's nothing to indicate he ever had sex had with a man. It's hardly unheard of for homophobes looking to kill a gay man to go on our hookup apps. He seemed to be using them to scope out gay venues and he picked one. Even his time at Pulse there are no reports of him actually engaging anyone there. He either just sat in the corner, watching everyone, or he got belligerently drunk and thrown out.

Oh come on, if you are going to piss on someone else for speculating, don't indulge in it yourself. If he was hanging around in a gay bar for three years and had a profile on grindr, that is far more suggestive that he was closeted than not.

So far there seems to be far more evidence of that than that he was some kind of ISIS plant.

Everybody takes the word "homophobia" way too literally. Maybe some people do have an irrational fear of homosexuals, but gueniue HATRED for the LGBT community is alive and well also.

"Homophobia" is used, perhaps because there is no other "SINGLE" word for antigay hatred.

Those who hate gay people don't invariably FEAR them, which the real "derived" meaning (from the root parts of the word) would imply.
