Re: Westboro Baptist Church coming to my city tommorrow
They're not banned, but they have learnt that their 'constitutional rights' cease to exist at the border and Fred knows that he WILL be arrested if he steps foot across it. (He just can't seem to keep his mouth shut.) When a group of them came over (sans Freddie-boy) to protest Tim McLean's funeral (the young man murdered on a Greyhound bus a few years ago) because of Canada's same-sex marriage law, they were met with such opposition at the airport that they turned around and went back home. I don't believe they've been back since.
They know their hatred is not welcome here, nor will it be tolerated. Even most of their placards would constitute 'hate speech'.
They aren't allowed in Canada, either.
Last I heard, they weren't banned from entering Canada, but their protests would violate hate speech laws and they would be arrested.
