  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

gay/bi/homo should be executed

Careful now, that isn't Christianity, rather it's just idiocy.
If I may point out as well, broad brushing this idiocy on the whole of Christianity is just as idiotic.
Sorry, I just loathe such logical fallacies, fired from both sides even, oy vey!

The pastor is simply isn't a Christian, rather he seems to undermind what Christianity is. The Old Covenant has been fulfilled, the New has begun, the punishments have ceased, mercy and love abounds. The pastor here however completely ignores that, puts that aside, even stuffs the Gospel in the trash, did anybody miss that?

Funny, Telstra said, "Just a remainder of how loving Christianity is," but in the following breath says, "NEVER LISTEN TO A ONE SIDED STORY AND JUDGE." Can we all please be more critical thinkers here? Emotions lead us in bad directions, as we saw in that pastor, so use your head, or be like him.

The hate monger's definition/description of Christianity probably makes him feel just as cozy as your definition/description of Christianity makes you feel.

Neither of you have the final say in the matter. Neither of you have any authority to say the other is wrong.

Only the non-believers like Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris ... etc can be the judge of the Bible because they don't believer in it.

^ Nobody - and I mean NOBODY - can judge something they don't believe in. They will always - and I mean ALWAYS - judge themselves to be right.

And I am unanimous in that!

Ugh, must we showcase every homophobic pastor that says inflammatory things? The media makes this news because they know agitating people gets them ratings.

I had an ingrown toe nail, I ignored it, it got worse, then it got infected.
It's never good to ignore problems.

"NOBODY - can judge something they don't believe in"

umm if i don't believe the Sun is black.
I can be the judge that the sun is not black.

the "minister" is probably getting a dick up his ass at a truck stop as we speak--god bless his soul.;)

I kinda get the whole God thing. If I was one, I doubt I'd bend to every person's will and show myself all the time. I mean, it's only while you're away do you find how out how loyal you're friends really are. :p

He is definitely representing Christianity....

Like it or not...this is an aspect of Christianity and has been for a long time....

Leviticus threw lost of stones and gave a lot of advice on who to kill....

I have heard all the ilk about the Old vs New Testaments but the people who like to lecture about that freely go back and forth to whichever one supports whatever crap they are trying to force down your throat...whatever is convenient to "prove" whatever it is they are trying to "prove"....

I don't believe in you. Therefore, I can judge that you do not exist.

You lose. I win.

We have to keep in mind that there are extremists in every religion, and sadly it seems these characters make the news and garner the attention.

There's something more than creepy about this so-called man of the cloth. I'll betcha he's got something big to hide. They usually do, and when they do the shit really hits the fan!

My argument is just as correct as yours.

Those who are unwilling to learn can never be taught.

Actually i don't know what you are talking about now.
I said non-believers can judge the bible better than the believers because the are neutral and not biased or blind by faith.

Preachers who spew such hate against gays have more than likely sucked more dicks than I have, and that's a lot. Anyway, he does not in any way reflect my personal Christian faith. I think that such hateful preachers should be exposed. We need to be aware of what is going on, and what we might be up against. You've got to know your enemy in order to win the war.

lol that is silly.
Anyone can prove that i exist. Your argument failed.

Technically I could explain your existence away quite easily if I wanted to. If you showed me something you made, I could say anyone could've done it. If you sent me a picture, I could say it wasn't of you. If we decided to meet in person, I could say it was an imposter. I you showed me ID, I could say it was forged. If you brought witness of your birth, I could say they were actors. The childish cycle could go on and on. haha

As far as representing Christianity, there are good and bad people in every walk of life, so anyone who actively uses logic, knows painting any one group of people as all the same, is just demeaning and hypocritical. :p

And you really believe Dick Dorkins and Sam "death cult" Harris aren't bias at all?
