GOProud puts economics before gay marriage at ‘Homocon’ dance party in Tampa

Are you kidding, your boss ONLY employs you so long as you make money for HIM. The moment that stops you're fired.

It's called capitalism.

Yes that's right.

What is your sexual identity?

Oh so now I'm the new Benvolio, haha awesome. I'm a homosexual, but you all will still doubt this.

Well, no one in here thought that you were a liar, but now that you brought it up........

Always believe someone who tells on himself.

The rich already give back, even in these modern times. I want a secure job due to my superiority and skills not based on the government backing me up. Give me those Romney loss statistics then I will consider revising.

“Paul Ryan’s latest budget doesn’t just fail to address job creation, it aggressively slows job growth…the shock to aggregate demand from near-term spending cuts would result in roughly 1.3 million jobs lost in 2013 and 2.8 million jobs lost in 2014, or 4.1 million jobs through 2014.” [Economic Policy Institute, March 21, 2012]

The rich don't give back. They pay one of the lowest level of taxes since 1930. Capital gains tax is the lowest it has ever been. Romney is terrible for the economy and his policies are contradictory to any job growth. If you want a good economy and if it is essential to you, the republicans aren't offering a good future.

Quite. Providing jobs -- the basis for alleging they're "job creators" -- isn't giving back, it's pursuit of self-interest. What Carnegie and other meant by giving back was building hospitals, libraries, schools, bridges, and more -- things built with their money and given to the public.

When the wealthy don't see that as their duty, it's time to enforce it by taxes.

LiveLeak.com - Romney Plan Would Kill 360,000 Jobs in First Year

Getting statistics and reviews from Center for American Progress Action Fund seems a bit biased to me. And I can't find any info on the username echo4250, I mean I want economists to wage in on this.
GhostMost is... different. I've learned to just skip over the posts.
good input

Providing jobs isn't enough? Oh god man, no one will give you a care package, work for your damn survival.

Everything is biased to you. Where are we supposed to get stats from? Washington Times or Townhall.com?

Romney's plan is a disaster for this country, and would mortgage your future. It's not that too hard to figure out.

Work for your damn survival? That's a rather negative view to have in this world. That's a great way to have a heart attack in the future. I'll have a better outlook on life.

An actual economist, I want an article that has the author listed as an economist separated from an institution that is biased.
It's the truth though, and that's why I choose not to debate with you all that much, because I mean it's common sense what do you need in this world right now? Love is a secondary thing but to get you to survive every day.

I think the source that was mentioned was well backed up and corroborated.

It's not the truth. You are choosing to live a lie. Life is meant to be enjoyed... and if you're doing something that is making you suffer, it's time to switch jobs/careers. Common sense? Something that seems to be lacking in your arguments.

Go ahead and vote for Mitt Romney... if he gets elected, you'll really suffer and probably have less of an opportunity when the economy tanks.

All of that is your opinion and that's fine but you can't say it's a legitimate source because the only websites that he took sources from were ThinkProgress and Center for American Progress Action Fund.

Why do you say the EPI is biased?

WTF is the "Center for American Progress Action Fund"? I cited the EPI, which is an economic think tank devoted to analyzing the effects of economic policy on the middle and lower class. They have a fair number of Ph.D.s in economics, along with others in sociology, political science, and more.

you cited liveleak that had other citings which included this article/publication http://www.americanprogressaction.org/wp-content/uploads/issues/2012/07/pdf/romneyu_econ.pdf which is very biased. I just want an economic analysis, charts, expected incomes, job statuses, etc. you all seem anxious to prove me wrong so..

And Carlo, I'm choosing a life of suffering by working for my money? Strange. You said "and if you're doing something that is making you suffer" but you were addressing the statement that I made that you need to earn money in life to survive, so you're saying that you don't need money or a job to survive?

Seeming bias and actually being bias are two different things. Just because credible source(s) do not verify what you are reaffirm your own assumptions when it comes to socioeconomic data doesn't make them bias, that is objectivity. Also a key to objectivity is ability to admit you are wrong as much you are right.

The American Progress Action Fund is actually a very objective, non-profit think tank. They are about as objective as the Congressional Quarterly (CQ Press) when it comes to congressional information.

Question do you consider the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) bias as well?

You've had it handed to you and still you persist.

But no.

The first thing you need is dignity to survive. Many people have survived on little or no money but no one survives without dignity and a feeling of self-worth.

But not to worry. We get you. There are lots of you out there.

But I can guarantee you as someone who has comfort, security and a partner of 30 years now...you don't get there on the road that you are following.

Time for you to give yourself a reality check, there.
