I've just got back from a trip to Sainsbury's. There were large gaps on the shelves, but the place was remarkably quiet and there was plenty of room in the car park. Most of what I wanted was in stock, but no eggs or tomato ketchup.

Just had a Shoprite home delivery and they are still doing a good job

Have you ever tried hummus on a turkey sandwich? It's quite good.
I thought all establishments insist on customers wearing shirts, these days.

I've stopped at Target and picked up a few staples that I've needed. I usually keep a pretty good pantry stocked.
Or the deli person doing something else, like happens in this video clip:
^An update on my home delivery experience:
I placed the order on the 21st and was scheduled for delivery today between 5 and 6 PM. I kept getting text messages that pushed the delivery to a later time, finally I got a call from the delivery/shopper saying that they had just gotten back to the store and it was closed. Then I got another text stating that they were doing my shopping, followed by multiple texts saying that they were refunding various items... it turned in to the whole list. Then I received
an e-mail from Kroger asking me to rate my experience with their home delivery. We are in a strange time and are not used to inconveniences. Hell, this the USA, we are supposed to get what we want when we want it! Perhaps a good taste of empty shelves and a lack of choices will be an eye opener for us.
Praise be, i managed to buy some toilet rolls.
