I was on my way from Seattle to Minneapolis today -- and stopped by a Walmart to pick up some more lettuce, olives and salad dressing...
As I was walking out -- I noticed that they had their own Hair Salon -- right in between the pharmacy and the eye doctors (within the Walmart)...
I guess I don't go to Walmart's enough...
So -- I started thinking really fast (which is scary) and decided that if I ducked in -- and got a quick haircut (adult cuts were $15.95) -- I wouldn't need to do it when I got home (for $35 at a super nice place that requires large tips)...
Oh -- and to preface this story -- I don't have that much hair left -- so it is usually PRETTY EASY for people that know how to do hair...
Well -- I walk in and can't immediately find anyone -- so I walk back behind the petition and come FACE to FACE with the lady that cuts the hair...
She was folding towels...
I look at her and IMMEDIATELY notice that she has the most HORRENDOUS HAIR POSSIBLE for someone in the industry...
I don't even know how to describe it exactly -- It was just HORRIFYING!!!
And NOT in a HIP way -- more like my great aunt who is too busy staying at home eating snookerdiddles and watching The Price is Right...
I smiled and said "oh, I'm sorry" and made an EMERGENCY exit!!!
YIGHTZ!!!
Why would ANYONE that cut hair not care of their own???

Furiously, I went to the Fantastic Sam's four blocks down to have them fix it by giving me a military buzz / flat top cut. The stylist at F.S. didn't even charge me, so I gave her a $20 tip, and I've been going to her ever since!
