Barcelona is a very nice place compared to smelly Nice, but seriously where are the public TOILETS???

I did google public toilet in Barcelona and they are very far and few ....

The idea is that they also keep the toilets clean. If you find a toilet that's not clean, you politely tell them and they'll fix it.

Nice is fun if you have money to burn. There's an old school hotel that has kept all its grandeur. I spent a few nights there with relatives and we never went further than 300 meters away. We had breakfast in the garden, lunch on the terrace, afternoon tea in the salon and dinner on the rooftop. Inbetween we swam and relaxed in the steambath. Great fun but I would not have wanted to pay it.

Most of the people you saw were day trippers. They live nearby or stay at a beach resort.
 
Nice is a beautiful town though I agree apart from strolling around, the beach and eating there is not a lot of things to do.

Mind you sitting in a café just watching the world go by for an hour or so is enjoyable. Plus Nice can be cheap; you just need to choose your restaurant carefully. I can eat a three course dinner with a glass of wine for under 30€.
 
Barcelona Sauna, its terrible because they let people smoke inside so you breathe in second hand smoke all day there.
 
^Telly, we have a total ban on smoking in any sort of building, including from next year all Scottish prisons. Which should be a riot, and i mean a riot, as roughly 72% of inmates smoke.
 
Madrid sauna Paradiso, very clean. They have a few full time cleaners clean often even tho it was not busy. And the drainage wet area drain well.

Most saunas don't clean that often as that. Most saunas drainage wet floors drain too slow you feels yuck !!!
 
I feel sorry for the tourists who carry heavy cameras all day ... smart phone camera is more than good enough, I have heavy cameras but did not bring along.

Wow...I can't remember the last time I saw anyone smoking now. Maybe they hide? I think it is illegal in the open.....

At least it was clean though...

Btw, you came late to the party. I was there June 23-July 9 for WorldPride, that was wild.
 
No, just that one twice because they have many cleaners cleaning it so often. I cannot complain with this one

No, the told the staff and he said smoking is allowed .... so Barcelona sauna sucks and dirty !!!
 
Passing Porto Portugal, i'm surprised they don't sell street food and drinks for tourists...

Not everyone want a sit down meal.
I guess it's all about No toilets again ???
