Heroes Season 3: Villians [merged]

I would have liked the writers to tell us how Syler acquired his powers before learning empathy.

I also want to know why Patrelli killed the sexy accent African man instead of just making him 10 years old like he did with Hiro :(

In the episode before this one Noah made the statement that Gabriel's ability was to be able to transfer power from one vessel to another. I assume he had to get into people's heads(literally) to see how there power worked and then he could transfer it into himself. Now that he can do that empathically he does not need to rip their head off. From Noah's statement one could acertain that Gabriel could also transfer powers of one hero into another hero or human ( hence transfer power from one vessel to another). I think he at some point in the future episodes he will either transfer his abilities or Arthurs abilities back into Peter, thus restoring his powers. I also think that Sylar or Peter are the needed catalyst due to the nature of thier abilities and not Claire( though I think she is a key, hence the "save the cheerleader, save the world thing from season 1, and the future with the world blowing up etc.).

I don't know why, but part of me would have loved to see Arthur have to struggle with Sylar's thirst--but I guess he understands it too well to get trapped by the addiction. BTW Gabriel is my new fave Hero/Villain. It used to be Peter, but I'm kind of over him--until he takes his shirt off, then I'm putty in his hands. Anyway, I love how Sylar's character is torn between his desire to be a good man and the temptation to give into the monster within. Just thinking of his name, Gabriel, makes me think of him as some sort of fallen angel. seeking redemption only to be forsaken.

Remember when Aurthur was flipping through the files and he flipped from Kato's to Claire's? Also Nox and hill billy flame guy were trying to catch Claire, not Peter.

Tonight was so awesome.

African Man? :( He was so attractive to me. I liked the way he talked and the way he delivered his lines.

I think he's really attractive too !oops!

Too bad he's gone :(

i'm really glad the show's flowing the way it is now. there was too much shit happening before. and i'm glad they're returning the characters' personalities to how they should be. except for sylar's.
i'll never forgive how his character developed in one episode instead of spreading it through the season

I'm actually glad that they made Sylar's transformation quick. They had been stretching the evil Sylar plot too thin. It had become tedious. They needed to quickly shoot some new life into the character.

Looks like it's gonna be the end for Elle next week......(judging by the last few seconds of THIS week)
Anyone watch it?

What I am hoping (which I KNOW won't happen) is that all of the Heros/Villains fight eachother, withOUT their powers, most die, and the eclipse creates NEW heroes/villains.........

stupid DVR...I sat through that crappy episode and didn't even get to see the end of it...it cut off right in the middle of Syler/Elle's convo. Anyone mind telling me what happened? and What the scenes for next week are?

E!'s watch with Kristin hinted that Elle will be dying..which is sad...cause all of my Veronica Mars cast members are leaving the shows that I watch them on now=(

Been meaning to ask this for a while. Does anyone else get a sound fadeout problem with watching Heroes? Maybe it's my NBC, but it happens in every episode this season. I remember one where it did that practically the whole episode. I had to try and strain to hear more than a whisper.

save the cheerleader! :D

good episode. but i was expecting peter to find his powers again after the eclipse ended.

They need to fucking stop running the episodes past 10! My DVR cut off the very end of the episode again. Can someone tell me what happened after Hiro and Claire appeared in the greenhouse and in the preview for next week?

Why won't people die in this show!!! For the sake of all that is holy! How many times have some of these characters died and come back? I am very close to stop watching this show. It is going absolutely nowhere!

Not to get sappy but we almost had a love story going too! Sylar and Elle! But wait, Sylar is a bad guy and will never ever change..or die...or do anything worth while.

Ok. I'm done...for now.

If the previous eclipse is what gave the current generation their powers, what gave their parents powers??? Does Claire have the catalyst, or is it some kind of "cosmic radiation"?

Yeah I am having the same problem of Heroes running over the time at 10. Was able to go back and look at the conversation. Pretty much all it was Claire and Hiro were in the greenhouse and Hiro's father was handing the baby over to Benton. And Claire was watching. Nothing too significant that you missed.

I did catch this episode after skipping a few. I think I may have saw some of last week though. Still boring. This show could have gone in a great direction but it's just blah. Is it just me or is Peter the most annoying character on television?! They should have done new people with different stories every season. keep it fresh. My fav was that chick who could mimic stuff and worked in the burger joint. She was a cousin to that tech kid. She would watch something and store it. Now she was fun and interesting and she just faded away. They need to get the writers from smallville. This show has no heart whatsoever.

hey should have done new people with different stories every season
That was Tim Kring's intent.

But then everyone fell in love with the characters. :(
