Hilary Clinton for President?

What experience did Obama have? Carter? Clinton? Under our popularity contest, experience is a negative.
Obama? U.S. Senator
Carter? Governor of Georgia
Clinton? Governor of Arkansas

Waat are we smokin' maahn?

experience is a negative

Franklin D. Roosevelt
  • NY State Senator
  • Assistant Secretary of the Navy
  • Governor of New York

I liked the thread better when it was in HT and reactionary right wing idiots get called out on their paranoia and stupidity.

As a Canadian...I suspect most of the world would sleep better at night with this kick-ass woman in the White House.

My point is that none of these, or GWBush or Reagan had any federal experience. Obama's short period as Senator doesn't count because he did nothing and was already running for President much of that time. Under our system, federal experience is a negative. Hillary is an illustration, as she has picked up a number of things for her critics to use. Benghazi, use of a secret email account, the destruction of the emails, refusal to answer to Congress. It explains why federal experience hurts a candidate.

Experience in political office, at any level is a solid foundation when moving into the Oval Office....

as Claudius, said, "Let all the poisons that lurk in the mud hatch out"..in order words, you'll find fault even were the candidate Jesus of Nazareth for he dared to associate with the poor, dispossessed, and those living outside the margins of "decent society."

I am not finding fault with a person.. I am pointing out how our election system works in practice. Those with federal experience are more vulnerable and those with less relevant experience have an advantage.

Please cite. "He did nothing" is a lame Republicon talking point. See if you can come up with an original thought.

That's your opinion...duly noted....

A new book, called Clinton Cash details how foreign companies made payment to the Clinton Foundation and to Hillary for speaking engagements at the same time as receiving favorable treatment from her State Department.http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/20/u...uestions-foreign-donations-to-foundation.html
I hope this does not derail her nomination. I really want to see her as the nominee. But alas, it is not to be.
