My power problems seem to be solved for now. Or at least until the next storm. The lighting from the one yesterday caused lots of outages in the area.

That is an interesting loco. Looks like it fitted to be driven from either end. Does "Sound Fitted" mean a horn sound or engine sounds or both?

You are right about that locomotive. It has two cabs and can be driven from either end, indeed, about 95% of UK locomotives are so designed. And sound fitted means the models has horn sounds, engine and many other sounds too.

It shows that the signallers must be very, very careful when operating pointwork whilst trains are passing over them. Thankfully no one was injured…

I hope all is well with you, and you get out this weekend. BTW, I'd think it would be pretty difficult to get temps up to 104-105 in Britain, since you're surrounded by water. That's the main reason temps rarely go over 100 in Florida, though it's hot here generally. What's going on over there? You suddenly get a pipeline to the Sahara or something? :confused:
