I wasn't *whining* only curious about a delay of over an hour, who wouldn't be?

I absolutely am thrilled by this news and thought the President's address was perfect, spot on, patriotic and given with exactly the right "tone".

Actually, it has more to do with the rest of the world than it does the US. The announcement had to be timed so that there would be a WORLD audience as well.
 
Why was my thread and Nine of Clubs thread merged? One (mine) was a celebration of the news and the other thread was filled with whiners nit picking.

I wouldn't have given the man a shred of credit for it, because it wouldn't have been him. Nor do I blame Clinton for letting him get away in 98.

Obama did not find Osama. He did not kill Osama. He, like Bush, and like any other leader, does not deserve credit for an action that he did not take. Bravo to our intelligence community. They deserve credit for it.

That is incorrect. The search continued within the CIA through the election, and until Obama enacted changes. The organizational aspect of search did change. But it never stopped.
 
Bottom line is he got the job under his watch, just like the others wanted to do under there watch but failed to do.


Trump will question the death cert, and start his rederic of crap as usual..
