How many sexual partners have you had?

I'm 58. From the age of 17, when I found him, until 34 years later only one, him. After his passing it took a couple of years before I even wanted to have sex with another guy. Since I discovered the concept of having FB, I guess around 10. I see all of them on occasion depending on what city I am in and I'm horned up, which is most of the time. At this age I finally experienced the difference between making love, which I had with Steve, and just having sex with no emotional attachment. It was a revelation to me that I could even do this but it's great. I suspect that this is how I'm going to spend my remaining years unless I fall in love again at first sight like I did with him, not likely.

34 years? That's amazing!! Ideally, I'd prefer being with one partner and committed, but now I've finally put my foot down. I will only be intimate with the person I'm dating and hopefully they want the same thing! :)

wow. everyone here's done something or the other. lol!

0. In every aspect. 0. Never looked for it, not yet anyway. but.. yeah.. 0.. ;-; weep for me

I was born in Oct. of 1950. So, I'm "only" 63. When did THAT Happen?? #-o

My teens and twenties perfectly coincided with the 60s and 70s. And as some have already pointed out, those Times were certainly "Different"! \:/

If we rule out getting naked, showing off, jerking together with guys, making out (heavy petting) with girls, I didn't actually have SEX with anyone until I was a freshman in college, 18, and away from Home. In spite of my Intense Interest in SEX, there were valid reasons for that. ](*,)

My first actual SEX was 69ing with a guy. Actually fucking a girl didn't happen 'til a year after that. And, it was only a few months later that I fucked a guy (the same one I'd 69'd with.) After that, I just went NUTS! (Maybe pun intended. Maybe not.) (!) (!w!)

Through my very late teens, and all through my twenties, there were more girls than guys. And, though I've never "taken count", there were at least several dozen females involved, and only about half a dozen guys, or so.

However ... When I hit 30, I gave into my more "Natural" instincts, and gave up females all together. [-X

I met "My" Kev when I was 32, and he was 25. And, though there have been other guys, here and there, just for the FUN of it, we're still together. (group)

Though my History has definitely been Bisexual, this later part of my life has been strictly Gay! :-<

SO ... to answer the OP's question, I'm thinking around 50, or a bit more, all together. And, reading some of the previous posts, I guess that's rather Conservative! :slap:

Just more reasons to ... No Matter What ...

Keep Smilin'!! (*8*)
Chaz :luv:

Can't you save up and buy an hour of some hustlers time ?

I wouldn't do that if I were a multi millionaire. Buying is for material things, not people. If nobody wants to be with me for who I am, then buying such a situation with money, would not make it real. Not even close. Therefore, I wll not do that...

Agreed!

I rather think posters should not keep answering your questions when you yourself withhold so much about yourself.

Being more transparent is the best method to get others to be authentic with you.

Try it.

I feel like you always have something good to say, even if we're at odds on a topic.

I've never thought about this. I feel like I never share my own experiences after a question is posed until the other person has answered because frankly I'm not sure they care. Unless it's a recommendation or they're asking for help, I generally keep my opinions and experiences to myself. I'm also not sure that I want to put myself out there with someone who may not want anything to do with me, thus I would feel out of balance.

I can see how that would be perceived as being like an interrogation or phishing for dirt. I'm just terrible at starting thought-provoking conversations with people who might be bland or boring. In person it seems easier but I really struggle in terms of online communication for this reason.

As for me, more than I'd care to admit. Not because I feel ashamed that I had sex but I had sex with a lot of people I didn't necessarily want to. I did it for the wrong reasons.

I am not a slut or anything. But I do not know the number and I that I stopped counting a few years ago.

haha...not throwing shade, but I am REALLY surprised that I've had more partners than you, Chaz.

Age: 52

Number of partners: 0

nothing wrong with celibacy if that is what you want--I do think there is someone for everyone and I have seen it---I have seen couples that I would think could never find a match---what about Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman? lol I know you could have sex with someone if you really worked at it.

I know.. I love reading that, ibill1 was so lucky to find someone to stay together with that long. Really sad he lost his guy though
I'm of the same feeling. I'd want to remain with just one, hopefully forever.
In reality I know I'll end up being single forever.

I'm only taking a guess here saying this since I don't know his situation... birddog7 might be somewhat like me in that its not so much "want to remain celibate", but instead thats just the way things work out: Even if I wasn't too shy/socially inept .and. in a situation where even if I wanted to date it'd be very difficult (or near impossible) ... nobody would be interested

I wasn't going to answer this question, but since others did, I will. I am 68 and have had 0 partners. Even though I came of age in the sixties and seventies, I was afraid of being rejected and/or caught and getting beaten up, catching a disease, embarrassing my family, losing my job, and eventually going to hell.

Age 23
Sexual partners 4
The first one was a high school friend, the second one the love of my life the other two just people
I had sex with in order to forget the love of my life. I did anal with the first two guys ;-)
