  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

I Got Lung Cancer

Doesn't three months go by so quickly?
Time for the results of my latest scan already.

And the news is................................

THE CANCER HAS GONE! Yup, it's scarpered, no sign of it anywhere! Not a whisper of it remains. It's checked out and fucked off!

(!)(!)(!)(!)(!)(!)(!)

I'm going to be monitored every three months for a while, then every six months after that for the next five years. If it does decide to have another go we'll be ready for it (but I'm not even going to think about that for now).

So to all my lovely JUB friends, I say thanks for being there with all your broad shoulders for me to cry on. Thanks for making me smile when I needed a lift.
And a big thank you for being here for me when I needed you most.

Kisses and cuddles all round!

The news is fantastic. Just as we all hoped and expected/demanded.

One detail Sir. Thanks is a two way street and we owe you thanks for the

way you manned up and took possession of the problem rather than letting it

take possession of you.

You are not just a friend and colleague, you are a friend, a colleague and a

bit of an ICON as well. Knowing you has added to my life...so congrats...we

will still pull as a team......and Thank You...|

Aaw thanks Lefty. (*8*)
You've made me go all bashful now...!oops!

And thanks geloge and bw92116, appreciate your kind words. (*8*)

Honestly ULOM.;)

Champers is so gay. Real men grab a can or three of malt ale or at least

something like a Guinness Stout. Bangers and mash rather than souffles

you know.

I'm soooo happy to hear this news. I'm feeling a little overcome with joy! I can imagine how happy you must be to be able to put this behind you. Keep on keeping on!

Best of luck! I hope you continue to improve!

Alan, you've no idea how pleased I am to hear this news. You and DAC1 were amongst the first to 'befriend' me when I first joined, and you have been missed.

It's going to be good to have you around again!

Great news Alan - I'll bet that 'Cheshire Cat grin' on your avatar was all over your face as well when you heard!

Are you still swimming - how is the fitness going?

I must have missed this thread until now, reading through it has brought tears to my eyes.

Feels weird (but in a joyous way) to be so happy for someone I have never met.

Probably as we are so surrounded by shitty news, it is great to hear some good for a change.

Here's to a long and happy future for you.

Glad to hear it! Here's to many more good test results in the coming years. (UU)
