HR has done a great job in bringing us this story of several lives. It has been great!!

An update​

It’s been on again and off again, but at last I’m told it’s OK to post this:

While I was away on vacation last month, I got a message from Billy. All it said was: “Tom is moving in this weekend. Call me.”

So here is what I know and what the guys have told me I can share:

Justin and Billy and Tom are now living in a three-bedroom apartment that is provided them by Justin's mentor Joe.

Billy is a senior and will graduate this spring. Justin, who is a junior, has been working for Joe full-time all this school year. It started off as an internship for credit, but seems to have been extended indefinitely.

Justin has been traveling on business about two-thirds of the time, leaving Billy at school much of the time. Billy has traveled with him some, but his class schedule, schoolwork and the global recession have not allowed him the travel time he had hoped for.

This has meant that Billy has had to amuse himself for days, even weeks, on end. Some of his amusements have been innocent enough. Like cyber sex with friends and even with a few of his fans from this project. You guys know who you are. He says to say hi. He’s been “busy”.

But more and more he found he enjoyed the face-to-face interaction he could have with Tom, who is now attending the same college as Billy. Because the two of them both prefer to bottom, the relationship isn’t completely satisfying for either of them. And when they do fuck, Billy says they have to bag it because Tom “has other friends.”

“But we do find plenty of ways to get each other off,” Billy says. As a result the two of them started spending a lot of time together this year.

I asked Billy if Justin was OK with him spending so much time with Tom.

“He knows all about it. He also knows we hardly ever fuck each other and that when we do we do it safe. And when Justin is home, the three of us always get together and Justin loves having two bottoms to fuck. So what’s not to like?”

When I finally got to talk to Justin about all of this, he echoed almost everything Billy had said.

So it’s been about a month now since Tom moved in and everything is going fine, they say. They all seem happy and content with the situation, even though Tom says it can “get tricky” at times keeping everyone happy.

By the way, Tom and Joe have remained friends but developed separate interests during the past year or so.

To be completely honest with you, even the guys know I’m writing this, they are being very coy about just what their relationship is. I asked each of them if Tom was a roommate with benefits or were they trying to create a steady threesome?

Billy: “You’d have to ask Tom. I don’t give a fuck what you call it. We’re all happy and having a great time and there’s always someone there to take care of whatever any of us wants or needs.”

Tom: “I’m not going to stop seeing whoever I want whenever I want, if that's what you're asking. I pretty much do whatever I want. I’m too young to settle down like really serious.”

Justin: “We’re just having a good time and seeing what happens. It’s easier if we all live together.”

So do they have one bed or two?

It was at that point I was reminded that they don’t share all the details anymore, but they wanted to share this change in their lives.

I asked if this might develop into a new book in our series and they didn’t say “No”.

Actually during the weeks since Tom moved in, I have begun to think that part of why they want to tell everyone about this is that they are seriously thinking about sharing it as a new book.

I have my theories as to why they would change their minds about sharing their lives so publicly. But that’s all I’m authorized to say. Please, feel free to ask them whatever you want. They might be willing to answer or comment. They might not.

It's usually surprising what Life can bring us. It wasn't all that long ago that none of the guys could have predicted what was cumming! (!) (group)

I'm really not that surprised. When we left you guys, you were in a house provided by Joe, with Justin and Billy in one side, Tom in an apartment adjoining, that Joe had a door between installed.

Billy told us that you guys enjoyed getting together to satisfy your respective itches, too.

I hope you continue to be happy - and healthy.

Tom sounds like he's still enjoying the variety on offer with you guys as his mentors/safe haven of happiness.

It's a little wilder than many of us would be ready for but, you're taking precautions to make sure no one gets sick, and you're being completely open with each other.

Thanks for keeping us abreast of your significant events.

I wondered if we might get an update as Jess' story came to a close. Now it sounds like we get more than just an update.

I've been a reader of your story for about a year- having found it on nifty and worked backwards from there!
I have to say the story has been a truly brilliant read, from start to finish, and that I also love Jess' new story! You guys' story has been a major part of my life over the past year, bringing a lot into question in my own life, and opening my eyes to other possibilities.
I felt like I should finally show my appreciation by posting on your thread, and thank you for giving a 19 year old guy over here in Ireland a new perspective on life!

The story is so great I'd like to see it made available to as many people as possible. If you don't plan to publish it yourself, i'd say let your reader go ahead.

While I see the views continue to climb steadily after all these months, comments from new readers have been few and far between. I'm really glad you broke the dry streak and spoke up. I just have one question about your comment. Was your thanks to the guys "for being so personal" an indirect way of thanking them for getting you off? Or do you just appreciate their openness and honesty? I hope it's both, but I have to wonder which cums first. Thanks again for the comment and let us know what you think as you progress through this project.

It is great to suddenly have comments on this project after such a lull. And to have you pick "I Thought I Knew" to be the first story you post to is a real honor. The guys don't check in much these days as you can see, but I will try to do an update on where they are and what they're doing soon. So where are you in reading the project? And can you tell us a little about what has drawn you to it? Thanks for the kind comments and keep us posted.
